Mulligans
General Mulligans
Mulligan's are very important you're always digging early on for Prep, Sprint but at all costs. Cutpurse.
Aggro Mulligans
Some good cards to look for vs Aggro is our AoE or cheap removal.
Hunter+Paladin are the 2 best examples of this with there early game. Fan of Knives is a key Mulligan vs Paladin to deal with muster, Blade Furry is amazing vs any Aggro Deck mostly with Deadly Poison. But also don't feel afraid to tank a few hits if you have the general mulligan.
Control Mulligans
The general Mulligan here is perfect. The ability to get your coin digging early on is amazing.
Tempo Rogue is a deck style I’m attempting to build to fix the issues a lot of the current Rogue players are going to hit somewhere when working on a deck. The idea of this deck is to find many early game ways to get the coin 1st or 2nd which can be used to summon big minions and get cycling quickly (Azure Drake) or just trigger combo (SI, Evis, etc) also mixing with the OG Prep-Sprint Combo you can sometimes with Cutpurse get a turn 3 Prep-Sprint going to ramp up the tempo of the deck significantly and start dropping your big Mid-Range minions to just destroy everything on the board while using Rogue’s amazing removal tools.
Key cards:
Cutpurse – This card is a core early game card. I’ve found for Rogue that one problem we have is surviving the early game. We rely on turn 2 coin-SI to remove, Prep-Sprint, a lot of what we do can go well with the coin and this guy is unlimited coins. I ALWAYS GO FACE never trade with this guy, he’s such a threat as he gives us unlimited coins they’re forced to trade into him or they will be giving us so much tempo, even if it means leaving a juggler up, GO FACE. The coin is so powerful
Burgle – Burgle is just another prep target 2 for 2 isn’t bad and it’s for 0 mana which could give you some big, game changing cards.
