Mulligans
Aggro Mulligans
These cards are great for making efficient trades while allowing you time to find your combo pieces.
Midrange Mulligans
Sir Finley is especially good in the midrange matchup because you can tailor your hero power to best counter their style of play.
Equality lets you get easily dispatch any annoying taunt minions
loot hoarder lets you trade while digging for combo pieces.
muster for battle is another great trading tool.
Combo Mulligans
Same as control-- Kill them before they get their bearings.
Control Mulligans
Against control you want to be very aggresive. The goal is to shut them down before they can get their foothold on the game. Don't be afraid to go all in because you can always get everyfin back with anyfin can happen.
Summon Murlocs. Murlocs die. Summon MOAR murlocs.
There are a few variations to this list and I will tell you why this one is a great version.
Let’s begin by asking a question– Why does anyone want to play an Anyfin Can Happen deck? The only acceptable answer is “because I want to flood the board with murlocs with this bomb of a card!” I’ve seen a lot of lists that look like some hybrid mix of midrange paladin/murloc paladin with anyfin thrown in there– PHOOEY, I say! Go all in or go away.
Card choices, y’all
Grimscale Oracle Murloc Tidecaller Bluegill Warrior Murloc Warleader Murloc KnightMMRRRRGGLGLGLGLGGGLL!! The meat and potatoes of this deck. You need murlocs to revive with anyfin and these are the cream of the crop. notice how the only murloc that doesn’t buff, get buffed, or produce other murlocs, has charge? That’s how it should be– You wan’t the chances of being able to bash face right after casting Anyfin Can Happen as high as possible. This is why there are no puddlestompers, coldlight seers, etc. If you don’t get a bluegill or murk-eye your opponent has a chance to respond, which means they have a chance to do something about your board–NO BUENO!
Loot Hoarder Cult Master Lay on HandsThese cards keep you going! This is a combo deck, and combo decks love to draw cards more than anything in the world! Loot Hoarder allows you to establish early game presence while being a fantastic minion for trades. Cult Master Is your mid-game draw power. Drop her onto the board before you start making trades and you’ve got a replenished hand as well as an even board. She works especially well the turn after you cast Muster for Battle. Lay on Hands is your late-game lifesaver. 8 health and 3 cards? YES PLEASE! Keeps you in the game and digs for that second anyfin should the first one not quite get you there.
Sir Finley MrrggltonThis is your greatest Turn 1 play. The goal here is to get lifetap because, y’know, c-c-c-combo decks love to draw cards. If you can’t get lifetap then steady shot or fireball are decent options.
Equality Consecration Truesilver ChampionThese are your board control tools. Equality is fantastic at letting your silver-hand recruits trade with anything your opponent can whip out, while consecration is a huge blow to aggressive decks. Truesilver Champion helps you take out any particularly beefy minions while keeping the damage you sustain at a minimum.
Sludge Belcher Antique Healbot CoghammerStalls for days. Coghammer’s buff can be used offensively or defensively– use the divine shield to allow a minion to take out a foe that it normally couldn’t without dying, or go face and force your opponent to waste two attacks to get to your face or other minions. The order in wich you play your cards is very important when using coghammer wisely. Remember that it is a RANDOM friendly minion, and play your cards accordingly. Antique healbot is a stable– 8 health and a 3/3 body. You know the drill. Sludge Belcher is no different. He’s just a solid wall at a great price.
