Deck Import

There’s been a bit of hype built around Control Warrior recently. Vlps recently called the deck “insanely good“, and the winner of MSI EGLX, Prelude, was running a version of the deck. This list is pretty interesting, it runs a single N'Zoth's First Mate for that early Weapon gain. Blood To Ichor is starting to feel like a universally good card in all warrior decks, and Ravaging Ghoul finds a spot in the list probably to take out pesky tokens from Zoo. Another interesting inclusion is of Onyxia. It seems like a big body and a bunch of tokens is likely going to be pretty difficult for most decks to deal with!

Ysera and Cairne maybe? A Cheaper option would be Armorsmith.

Warning; this deck is on the harder spectrum when it comes to skill and difficulty.
there is draw power but you can run out of resources quickly if you are not careful. This deck poops on zoolock and a lot of slower cthun decks so is pretty well suited in the meta, I switched onyxia for Ysera since I love ysera for her ability to get you ahead on resources in the late game and finish games if left unchecked past two turns. Control Warrior has always been my favorite deck, tied with freeze mage, yeah I’m that guy, and is extremely rewarding to adept players

Also side note, I’ve noticed that the weapons in this meta are close to zero, doomhammer is the only one I can think of but if you play smart, you don’t need to Harrison the doomhammer and overdraw in that matchup. I’m still not sold on a replacement but time will tell.

Also I have been debating who is a better 9 drop, alex, onyxia, or yesra?

Onyxia is great for providing you board presence, and since there are not enought board presence (atm not enought AoE is being played so Onyxia is great punishing that) and to certain degree it also provides protection against big C´Thun of your opponent that could otherwise kill you

Ysera provides you huge card advantage when it sticks (it´s very hard to deal with 12 health minion) you are in attrition battle, it´s immune to all sorts of removal, from bgh to priest removals

Alex is very annoying to play againsts as it can ruin your game completely as healing is very limited and your opponent cannot often deal with such a health loss. It´s rare but not uncommon that you play turn 7 Gorehowl follow it up with activating grom by killing your opponents minion and then alex turn into lethal

Currently I run control warrior that runs C´thun + very few buffs for him and I choosed to use Alex, but it´s highly optional

I’m guessing Control Warrior will end up being better, but it’s hard to know for sure.

Grommash is pretty important for finishing games. I’d try a second Revenge for Geddon.
