INTRO
Hello everyone is a novice of heartstone, I play from the exit of the witchwood expansion, and I want to present the deck that allowed me the scale from the rank 10 to the Legend. Not having the deck-tracker I do not know exactly the percentages of victory but being the only deck that I use not having many cards and competitive, it works well enough and if played well allows to counter even the most difficult match up for the combo priest.
The deck aims to use in combination cards like Divine Spirit and Inner Fire that will allow us to implement the combo, often OTK.
GAMEPLAY
The deck is more versatile than the classic combo priest in fact, thanks to the dragons, their synergies and the Unidentified Elixir card gains more control.
Unlike the Dragon Combo Priest, I replaced the looters with Ysera and Shadow Madness that if used carefully can change the outcome of the game:
Ysera is slow but if played in the right spots is very strong thanks to its “body / health” and the dream cards as Emerald Dragon (useful minion being a dragon and being very strong for the cost in mana), Nightmare (very strong magic because allows you to do the combo even with low-health minions), Ysera Awakening (to check board is to allow more unexpected lethal), Dream (versatile because it can remove minions with provocation or let us return silenced minions or who are about to die), the laughing Sister is the least useful in this deck even if sometimes you can also win of value;
Shadow Madness was a key card against some unfavorable match ups like the big spell mage which with the endless removals they have, they keep on stalling not allowing the combo, but they tend to arrive in late game without great difficulty and therefore to make us get the hand we want that is Radiant Elemental , Shadow Madness , Inner Fire and Divine Spirit (trying to find at least one more thanks to Shadow Visions ), at this point we must resist and try to control board until the arrival of Jaina DK and just when the opponent believes he has won steal the elemental of the frost that is evoked by the power and do the combo with the same. In similar ways one can deal with the Lord of the Void of the cubelocks. I have also included a Crazed Alchemist in the case of Geist, it often works.
The addition of these cards disadvantages the draw of 2 cards made by the looters, but if you use well Acolyte of Pain and Northshire Cleric you can stem this defect.
Against aggressive decks, in fact, we are going to contain threats, trying to remove the board thanks to the Duskbreaker and the Primordial Drake , also useful Shadow Madness that allows a double trade without damaging our board (especially useful against zoolock and even shaman ), also Mass Dispel is useful against enhanced boards.
Against slower decks it is mainly played to control the board and then make the combo or if you are lucky sometimes you can get very strong minions already in the second round is often the opponent can not do anything.
The deck if you play well with all the decks of the meta, the worst match is against the miracle rogue where to win you need the luck to find a Radiant Elemental and the combo in the first rounds or hope that you do not interest of our board and attack the hero allowing us to do the combo. Even against recruit hunter is not easy if they manage to have their combos in the first rounds of the game.
MULLIGAN
In general you go to look for theNorthshire Cleric to draw and stall the opponent the first rounds, then depends on who is against:
VS Paladin: Duskbreaker and low-cost drop to check board
VS Warlock: Twilight Acolyte to counter the giants of Even and Duskbreaker in case of zoolock
VS Shaman: Duskbreaker for clear board against both shudderwock and even and Northshire Cleric and Acolyte of Pain to draw.
VS Druid: Twilight Acolyte combo with Cabal Shadow Priest on Hadronox, Acolyte of Pain to draw, Duskbreaker against token
VS Hunter: Twilight Acolyte , useful Duskbreaker against Spell Hunter and Northshire Cleric , even here the Cabal Shadow Priest is strong directly on the eggs.
VS Rogue: Duskbreaker , Northshire Cleric , Radiant Elemental to try to do the combo quickly
VS Mage: Shadow Madness ; Twilight Drake ,Shadow Visions or Acolyte of Pain
