Deck Import

Fun deck to play that fits well on the current meta. The key to make it work is to manage your secrets in order to obtain the most of them, so most of the time you won’t be doing Kabal Lackey + secret on turn one. Apart from the four cards that make your secrets cost zero, the ones that make this deck viable are the new Kabal Crystal Runner and Medivh's Valet, because they add active tempo plays with lots of value to the board.

The deck works against all current meta decks of Gadgetzan, but it can also struggle sometimes.

Against Jade decks

You need to outrun them. It can be hard sometimes, but the key to beat this decks is to gain board control early and have them at 15~ health by the time they are getting stronger than you.

Against Pirate Warrior

You will have to burn your low mana spells to regain the board control they will have in the first turns. Once you have done it and you have a Water Elemental ready to hit face or a Frostbolt on an empty board, the game is yours. If you can’t do it, however, you’ll probably lose for turn 6.

Against Control decks

Hard matchup since they have a lot of resources to arrive healthy to late game. You will need to obtain good outcomes for your secrets and try to maintain some board. If you can do so, you will be able to burn them down with your spells in later turns. Also, Azure Drake will give you a huge board stability against Priest since the four health is an issue for them and Dragonfire Potion won’t affect it.

Changes depending on meta

If you encounter a lot of Pirate Warriors, you coud add the second Arcane Blast and remove one Azure Drake since it’s the less impactful card in this matchup . If you play against a lot of Control decks and you struggle burning them down, you should add a Forgotten Torch and remove a Water Elemental because it’s the card that makes Shadow Word: Pain get the most value.

It is overall a nice and fun deck to play that lead me from 18 to 11 in a very quick race while facing all current strong decks.
