Mulligan Guide

General

This is a ramp list, and more often than naught, you want ramp so you twiddling your thumbs while your enemy develops a board.  Living roots is a very useful tool against strong early game, and I keep it when vs shaman and especially zoo. Wrath is not worth more than potential ramp, and can be a distraction.

Mire keeper is great if you are on the coin, and is spectacular coupled with other ramp.

Ravel idol offers a lot of potential pick ups, and is usually worth keeping

Vs. Aggro

Deck Description

Just a recent brew after looking over ramp lists and using cards I enjoy (IE Swaggoth). The deck power lies in its amazing curve when successfully pulling ramp, and feels particularly powerful after removal is used on "early" threats like Dark Arakkoa, and even druid of the claw in some instances. Running no feral wrath has been working pretty nicely, as it is supplemented with heavy minions with taunt.

Haven't found Emperor particularly useful in this specific list, as you usually don't have a heavy hand unless the draw is extremely poor in ramp.

Soggoth is pretty underrated, and has proven himself pretty useful against control decks and shaman.
