To fit with the curve, these minions and spells are ones that have combo potential. Brann, then Barnes, then Purify is a possible combo to use, and the Brann makes all of the holding dragon cards gain more tempo. The Arcane Anomaly is not an obvious pick, but is able to be combo'd with cards like Purify, Thoughtsteal, and the coin in order to gain an easy 2/2 body. The Ancient Watcher is one of the sole redeeming minions that can make Purify have a lot of potential, so having it in your starting hand is important.
