*UPDATE*

Removed Lynnesa, Black Knight, and Wild Pyromancer for 2 Call to Arms and Loot Hoarders for card draw.

This is an experimental Control Paladin deckplaying around Master Oakheart, and Blackguard (both really interesting cards with a fair amount of potential) Feel free to share your opinion about the deck. I really enjoy playing the Paladin class, they do have a number of thoroughly interesting cards. However, the Meta decks you see are aggro or token decks, decks that as good as they are, really lose their charm after a while (At least to me).

Right now Oakheart’s 1 Atk recruit is sub-optimal, these being Lynessa Sunsorrow, Tar Creeper, and Stonehill Defender (Tar Creeper being the only good pull. I’m still experimenting with other cards, but the value Stonehill Defender generates in Paladin is just too good to lose). The 2 Atk pull is not that bad with the Hydrologist or a Benevolent Djinn. The 3 Atk pull, however, is the one I’m most excited about with the potential of bringing Chillblade Champion or Blackguard. The perfect pull would be Tar Creeper for 1, Benevolent Djinn for 2, and Blackguard for 3, this gives you 1/5 (3/5 on opponent’s turn) a 2/4 that heals you for 3 health, and a 3/9 that deals 3 dmg to a random enemy minion. Worst case scenario you get Lynessa, Hydrologist, and a Chillblade. This is the main issue I have. The solution can very well be to remove Oakheart from the list, but I’ll like that to be the last choice. Please share your ideas and concerns about the deck, it’s really helpful reading other people’s point of view and input.

Right now I’m still in the conceiving process of the deck, after some games with it and see what it’s missing and what it needs I’ll try to update accordingly.
