Mulligans

A powerhouse of a deck, usually the tough matchups are aggro.

Weak to Shaman

Shamanstone is a hard matchup because of the many minions it plays, this being said, we use cards like Tinkmaster OversparkTinkmaster OversparkDoomsayer, and good ol Shadow Bolt to counter this. Acidic Swamp Ooze helps quite a bit vs shaman, always keep in mullagin and if going second, it is often worth it to mullagin 2 cards for it in the early game.

Strange card additions first up,

Tinkmaster Overspark.

This good ol gnome can be pretty useful in the early game, good with Defender of Argus and Sunfury Protector, or to knock down a 4 mana 7/7. If you truely hail RNGjesus, try out Tinkmaster Overspark with Brann Bronzebeard

Probably next on the list, Ysera. She is mostly there for control matchups, but she can absolutely wreck if you get Ysera awakens, Dream, or Nightmare. Ysera awakens demolishes all minions and leaves Ysera still standing,  Nightmare + Leeroy Jenkins and Faceless Manipulator is 22 dmg, and dream is op with Brann Bronzebeard and healing. Even Emerald Drake and Laughing sister is good to Shadowflame or taunt up. Watch out though ysera, for the mighty Tinkmaster Overspark

If you do not like these cards, add in: 2nd Hellfire/Shadowflame, and Lord Jaraxxus, or 2nd Mortal Coil or 2nd Shadow Bolt.

Beating Shamanstone:

1- mullagin correctly. Getting big minions in mullagins screw us over often, so we should be very careful. Key cards vs Aggro and Midrange: Most important, Doomsayer, then Tinkmaster OversparkTwilight DrakeSunfury Protector

2- Keep decent cards. Simply put, keep cards like Shadow BoltSunfury ProtectorEarthen Ring FarseerRefreshment Vendor

3-  Stray away from too much value game. Play Brann Bronzebeard or Earthen Ring Farseerin turn 3 even with combos with it set up in hand. Play Doomsayer on an empty board sometimes to stop an onslaught of minions. Do not be stingy with Hellfire  or Shadowflame, but always keep in mind you have 1 copy of both. Turn 1 Tap Turn 2 Tap Turn 3 nothing Turn 4 Mountain Giant is rarely good vs aggro. Neither is Turn 1 Tap turn 2 Tap Turn 3 coin Twilight Drake Also, coin tap is a decent play if your hand is too expensive. In addition, mainly hunter with secrets in play and aggro decks with a bad start, playing Sunfury Protector on an empty board can be very important. This is an even better play when you have Power Overwhelming in hand.

4-  Always kill the totems. For hunter, its never proc the secrets until you are safe. Totems are simply too damgerous with Thunder Bluff Valient and Bloodlust. We almost never (except vs control warrior) need to push in face dmg with full Leeroy combo in the deck.

5- Assume your opponent doesn’t have lethal. Since aggro decks will not defeat you if they don’t have damage/ a horde of minions, this means that surviving a few more turns will mean  they lost. Do not save your cards like Siphon Soul for larger targets, if it threatens you board or lethal, then kill it. If you must Mountain GiantShadowflame then do it.

These tips hopefully increase your win rate, GL HF!
