Mulligans

Wild Marsh Queen OTK for Pre-Emerald Dream patch. Revert to Awakening Tremors for 4/1 Worms later this week will be huge for the deck, allowing you to trade down boards better and push a bit more damage to soften opponents up for the combo turn.

Quick gameplan overview;

Early (1-5):
Look to mulligan for Awakening Tremors/Trinket Tracker or Devouring Swarm + Wolpertinger/Springpaw. These are the fastest ways to complete your quest, and whenever possible, you want to play Carnassa on 5.
Spend the early turns of the game prioritizing quest completion, and trading down the board while doing so. Try not to use cards like birdwatching or wrangler unless it is absolutely necessary to find 1 drops to complete your quest, or a buzzard to start digging en masse. Speaking of which, Starving Buzzard + Wolpertinger/Alleycat/Springpaw/Worms can get you a long way when trying to find the gas needed to complete.
Against more passive opponents, you can try to pressure their life total with Worms, or very rarely Bestial Madness on a wide board. The lower their Health, the less mana you need to kill, and the more potential Taunt minions you can push through.

Mid (5-7):
After completing your quest, you will need to take a turn off to play Carnassa on 5 or 6. Turn 5 Gives you much more wiggle room, but some games with worse hands you will have to settle for 6.
After you have shuffled in the raptors, you will want to take ~2-3 turns to set up the kill. This is when you want to start dropping your copies of Birdwatching, Warsong Wrangler, and Bestial Madness to buff up your Broods. You will want to get them to upwards of 7 attack.
At some point before your combo turn, you will also need to find a copy of Tundra Rhino. This can be gotten with Selective Breeder, Starving Buzzard/Brood Digging, Leatherworking Kit, and if absolutely necessary, Wrangler or Birdwatching. You will also want to try to get a few Raptors to leave in your hand, although it’s okay to play a few to pressure your opponent or dig for other pieces.
If possible and if you have it available, play out a Parrot Sanctuary on one of these turns, and leave it unused on the board for the kill turn. This will give you 3 extra Raptors on the kill turn if you dont need to use it.
Finally, you will want to start aggressively trading down any smaller minions on the board to make space for the kill.

Combo (7+):
Once you have your Tundra Rhino and some buffed Raptors, you’re ready to go! I would recommend starting your combo turn with at least 2-3 Raptors if possible, unless you’re desperate and you just have to go for it. Simply play out your Raptors until you have 5 Mana remaining, drop your Rhino, and start swiping up. Parrot Sanctuary can be used on the combo turn to make up to 3 Raptors free.

And that’s it! Super fun deck, this build has gone through many iterations and I’m very happy with the performance of nearly every card. The only card I am wishy washy on is Animated Broomstick. It would be great to be able to play Drone Deconstructor or similar in this slot to help with quest completion, but something has to give in order to have a chance against aggro.

Deck typically dominates control decks, has a good time against midrange, and struggles a little with aggro or faster combo decks.
