What do you do when you go for 8 turns without picking kingsbane?

Yep, too bad it happens way too often, you can go for a very long time without picking kingsbane or pick kingsbane early but not have any good upgrades for it, this deck really does not seem very consistent.

That is why Cavern Shinyfinder is there. That is 3 changes to get the weapon. Also have Elven Minstrel and Coldlight Oracle to use to get one of those three cards (2xshinyfinder, 1xkingsbane)

And still, many times you don’t get your kingsbane early enough, and if you don’t have kingsbane out then you can’t play like… half your deck, this deck is simply too inconsistent to use, Yeah, there will be times where you will have a monster weapon with 16 attack, but most times you will have already lost the game before that even happens.

Ok, with the new nerfs just announced and what is being forecasted as a new Cubelock-dominated meta, I’m going to give this deck a try now. I’m crafting Greenskin from the dust that Patches will give me.

And to those saying this deck is not good, Kolento took it to number 6 Legend. It’s not the deck that’s the problem if it doesn’t work.

I really respect Kolento. However this is one of the worst Kingsbane deck I have seen recently. As much as you include extra cards to enhance your weapon (double leeching poison, nagga, squidface…), your deck become less and less consistent.

I tried Mimic. While at the high-end it can be great(double poison, Sap, Naga), in most cases, it didn’t fit the bill. I find Sprint or another Fan of Knives to be more consistent. Both generate cards and synergize with Preparation.

Nice deck, especially when facing a lot of warlocks & priests, though I replaced one leeching for another blade flurry (rip old blade flurry btw) and it’s been working slightly better for me.

Personally, I’ve had a decent amount of success with Mimic Pod, and similar cards. Obviously it’s nothing like Greenskin, and I also don’t have that card. However there aren’t many cards in the deck (Leeching) that you don’t want an extra 1 of.
