The mulligan cards allow you to have a strong opening against Nefarius. With the one help card you get (that cost 0) you will control his board with your strong minions that pop-up either with top-decking (using Astral Communion) or by Alarm-o-Bot that seem to be ignored by the AI.

Druid

This is my first attempt of sharing a deck, so please be gentle with me 🙂
This deck has only one purpose – to defeat Lord Victor Nefarius in Heroic mode, which I found to be very challenging. After trying couple of decks that people have posted I still could not beat Nefarius. I created this deck based on a simple idea and after a few tries it worked perfectly. Very east win.

How it works:

  1. Takes advantage of the AI not seeing Alarm-o-Bot as a threat
  2. Use Astral Communion to gain 10 mana
  3. Use AI bug using Astral Communion itself to ruin its deck
  4. Take advantage of druid ability to ramp to those cards quickly with Innervate
  5. It’s a Reno Jackson deck. Use him to regain life when you are low

Mulligan guide:

  1. Always keep Innervate
  2. Always keep Alarm-o-Bot
  3. Always keep Astral Communion
  4. Wild Growth is a good turn 2 play

Other notable cards:

  1. Use Reno Jackson to regain life, you will want to draw this card as soon as possible after playing Astral Communion
  2. Use Healing Touch to regain life while “waiting” for Reno to drop
  3. Use Mulch, Naturalize and Big Game Hunter to remove some of the big threats on the board

How to play:

If you don’t get one of the above mulligan cards, concede immediately. This deck does not allow you to do anything without those cards. You will have to do this 3-4 times, but since it’s right at the start it doesn’t take much time to get the right draws.
The next thing you want to do is to try and draw another combo card. There are few ways out with this deck, but the idea is to either play Alarm-o-Bot as soon as possible, or Astral Communion as soon as possible.

Here are some good starts:

  1. Turn 1 – Innervate + Alarm-O-Bot
  2. Turn 2 – Wild Growth, Turn 3 – Help Card + Astral Communion (4 mana)

After you got this kind of start, you are at the same playing level as Nefarius. Your board will start populating with 8-9 cost minions and you will be able to control him. With the help of Reno and Healing Touch you’ll be able to get back to full health with total control of the board (see image above)

Final words

Even with this deck it takes multiple tries to beat him, but you should be done within 30 minutes or so.
The high-cost cards can be any cards, I chose the dragon theme, but feel free to replace any card with another strong card if you don’t happen to have that legendary. Just put one of each so that Reno can do its thing.
