Xaril seems like a card that could be put into this slow meta. It seems like it could work well with plant-waifu. Any ideas where to put it? Maybe take out patches since there is only 2 pirates

I substituted patches for Xaril, and he works pretty well. His spells are cheap triggers for auctioneer, and help generate massive edwins. Also, you don’t really have anything to do on turn 4 aside from Sherazin, and just getting extra resources against aggro (which the deck is weak against) is great. I actually just killed a guy by stealthing a 12/12 edwin through xaril’s poisons.

No spot for Leeroy in this deck?

I swapped out a counterfeit coin for leeroy. Leeroy consistently wins me games so had to plug him in

I possess all of the cards needed for this Miracle rogue deck, except for the double Vilespine Slayer, which looks to be a very powerful card.

Do you think that it is necessary (or recommended) crafting two of these for Rogue decks, or do you think that the card will be dead in a couple weeks?

While I think the card itself is good, I think the miracle deck on reddit (the one with the burgly bullies and violet) are better. It’s better against aggro and does decent against the control matchups (just like traditional miracle rogues). If you don’t have the card I would give that deck a try

Savjz is playing one right now. The Maly version might not be stronger than the regular one, but it’s definitely fun!

I woulsnt recomwns the maly version just because of rouge quest being so popular. Im running this list but added leeroy and took ouy one hullucination because you need to race. And i dont see you getting to mally and going off. A majority of those games close around turn 6 and its always we are both dead next turn

Omg, 10-0 with this deck, ye, ye, rank 12 only, but lol >.<
Also 1st miracle with no OTK, board control focus =D

This is a question for anybody with the time or knowledge to answer.
Are there still any good control decks? It feels like Blizzard is encouraging aggro decks lately so are there still any decent control decks out there or have they ruined everything?

      April 9, 2017 at 2:49 pm

I enjoy a lot the freeze quest arcane giants(67% win rate for now) it’s much more stable than antonidas unlimited fireball but 90% of the times lose vs warrior. It’s OTK but gameplay feel very similar to control, except for finish u have otk combo instead of big badass legandary(giant+giant or copy+time warp, alex, face, face gg wp xD)

Maybe quest priest it’s nice too(Reno impostor xDD), not test too much this deck, sry.

Quest warrior is ok…., but control need tons of spell for control, not tons of taunts 😐

Multiple control decks currently are extremely viable, with great matchups vs a variety of the top decks, and people are regularly making legend placements with them. Go wild man, have some fun!

“It feels like Blizzard is encouraging aggro decks lately” – wait, what? They’ve printed so many anti-Aggro tools this expansion, they don’t really encourage Aggro. It’s just that Aggro is the most efficient way to climb the ladder, because your decks don’t last 100 turns.

There are multiple viable Control decks in the early Un’Goro meta. Here are some examples of great or at least decent Control decks I’ve seen on the ladder so far: Taunt Warrior, Control/Dragon Priest, Handlock, Control Shaman. Vlps hit Legend with N’Zoth Paladin as far as I know and there is even more if you count the slower Midrange lists like the Savjz’s Handbuff Elemental Paladin or Elemental Shaman.

It’s still hard to say how the meta will look a month from now, but I really think that we will have some good Control decks. Taunt Warrior alone is good enough vs the Aggro because of the Taunts while also having good slower matchups because of the reward.

I looked at the top meta decks and assumed that they were encouraging aggro, thanks for clearing that up.

And Also, is there anyway to fit a shadowstep in?

    April 9, 2017 at 1:49 pm

Might xaril be a better pick over Paches since he is kinda weak (Only good really if pirate on mulligan and against aggro) and you have a chance to get conceal?

  9. Himuk
    April 9, 2017 at 1:16 pm

Is Patches a worth inclusion? I mean, you have only two other pirates and when draw is like a 1 mana ping, which is almost a dead card since its not generated

This deck is literally garbage. Rogue is absolutely unplayable this expansion

New player here, how exactly do you win with this deck? I know the archetype is called “miracle” but does that mean you need a miracle to win or what?

Read this guide, it’s not the exact same deck, but very similar and will help a lot: http://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/decks/miracle-pirate-rogue-deck-list-guide-standard/

While it may seem confusing, the name of Miracle Rogue actually doesn’t hail from needing a Miracle to win the game. It actually has its origins in a Magic the Gathering Deck called Miracle Gro, that people attempted to copy in hearthstone with decent success, and the deck has developed to what we have today.

        • Jay131990
          April 11, 2017 at 6:02 am

Exactly. This deck has no win condition given the number of point-removals other classes have. Execute, Hex, Polymorph, Blastcrystal, etc. all deal with the Arcane Giants leaving you with only 1 Cold Blood to hit the enemy hero for “big” damage. No Leeroy, no burst, etc. It’s just not a good deck

??? 80% win rate . I made from 9 to 5 in an hour. Eloise took number 1 rating.
And this deck is garbage? LOL

      April 9, 2017 at 6:18 pm

I went from rank 14 to 5 with only 3 losses. Worst deck ever!,I expect 100% win rate!

if you dont have arcane giants go for the malygos build.

Or just hold off on playing Miracle right now, because Maly is kinda hard to make work with Emperor out of the format.

    Replacement for Sherazin?

    • Kurokiba
      April 8, 2017 at 9:35 am

    • FreakTheMan
      April 8, 2017 at 5:50 pm

You can play second Teacher and should do just fine vs most lists. You’ll struggle against control though.
