Mulligans

Aggro Mulligans

Against Fast : Righteous Protector, Hydrologist, Plated Beetle, Stonehill Defender, Truesilver Champion, and Concencration.

These cards will help you deal with many early game threats. Your main goal is just to survive the early game.

Control Mulligans

Against Slow : Uther of the Ebon Blade, Call to Arms, Truesilver Champion, and Stonehill Defender.

Focus on getting your combo pieces and trading. The beauty of this deck is you do not have any pressure to do damage to the enemy's face. Just make sure they don't get total board control and your chances of winning is significant.

Disclaimer : This deck was completely taken from the blizzard off meta report. I just wanted to write a guide for it.

This deck is so fun to play. Definitely recommend if  you have the resources to make this deck.

One of the biggest asset in this deck is the incredible pressure it puts on the enemy to kill every horsemen.  The biggest way to counter this deck is actually to keep track of which horsemen your opponent has on board and has in their hand. To win the game, you are required to have 4 DIFFERENT horsemen. This means that getting duplicates are practically useless. However. if your opponent is not paying attention, more than not they will use resources or attacks to clear that duplicate horsemen in this deck.

So what’s the combo?

It’s actually quite simple. You will first want to start being able to summon the horsemen so play your hero card. After that you will want to use your brewmasters on different horsemen. You can do this twice letting you have 2 of the 4 pieces in your hand already. Now many people will think to play both horsemen, hero power, pixie, then hero power again for the win! Unfortunately that combo takes 11 mana so it will only work with a coin. If you do not have a coin the next way to do this is to use Zola. You will want to Zola the third horsemen (that is different). The next turn you will have lethal.

Note : Your hero power will always summon different horsemen from the horsemen you have on board. If the horsemen are in your hand, you can get duplicates. Make sure to always play the 3 horsemen in your hand before using your hero power to obliterate the opponent!

Questionable Choices?

Pixie is a card I see people getting confused on why they should run. The combo in many player’s heads is to play both horsemen you have form your hand, then hero power, then Pixie, then hero power once more. However this combo is impossible without the coin as it is 11 mana. So what is Pixie doing in this deck? Pixie is here to increase your chances on pulling different horsemen. It is usually for the third horsemen you will need since you can play Zola the same turn you use Pixie and double hero power.

To be completely honest I am not certain why this card is in this deck. I see how this card can be useful to keep your horsemen alive but the best way I see to use Rebuke is for mind games. Having one horsemen on the board and using rebuke puts EXTREME pressure for the enemy to remove it if they were not paying attention to your combo. They may assume you have lethal and play a high cost spell just to remove it. This card in my minds is just a way to stall the opponent for one turn. It’s power is best used against Malygos Druid as it clearly stops them from killing you for one turn. In my opinion this card can be replaced with Hammer of Wrath as it is a good cycle card that also does 3 damage.

This card is surprisingly good in this deck even after the nerf. The best way to describe what this card does is that it is a deck thinner. It pulls out cards from your deck that can draw you more cards or help you survive longer. The only drawback is that it can potentially draw out Wild Pyromancer but for the most part isn’t a problem since you will always have the alternate Equality + Concentrate board removal. Overall a solid card that is surprisingly effective for this deck.

A strong early game play that gives you a secret. Usually you will want to pick between Noble Sacrifice or Redemption as both of those helps your minions stick on the board.

      Thanks!
Replacement for Zola is kinda tough to do because it is one of the combo pieces you need to do the OTK. However you can still pull the combo off, it will just be more tedious. It might take you an extra turn to get all 4 horsemen. There are no replacements that do the same thing as Zola for Paladin but you can always add another Pixie to get more horsemen out. The more horsemen you have out it will also be likely that some of them are duplicates. If you opponent isn’t paying attention they might kill the wrong ones. I haven’t tried the deck with 2 Pixie’s yet but it probably gives you the best chance of winning without Zola. Another card you can replace Zola with is Redemption and Desperate Stand. You want to make sure that the opponent does not have enough resources to kill your horsemen twice so it is probably best to use these cards with Rebuke.
However, I recommend you craft Zola if you can. Zola has seen some play in decks like Quest Priest (Which may be getting stronger because of the legendary spell) . However if you are unsure, you can wait til the expansion comes out and then craft the card if you see Zola in any of the decks you want to play.
