I absolutely love firelands portal. It an amazing tempo play, if you
have an even board or are even slightly behind this card can turn the
entire game around on turn 7, gets even better if you can keep azure
drake alive.

I replaced a poly with Sorcerer’s Apprentice, it’s nice early game if
you can get off a fireball or frostbolt on the cheap and continue to
control board.

An extremely cheap budget deck.

Please post any comments suggestions below!!

Mulligan Strategy: You are absolutely fishing for Mana Wyrm + low
cost spells. I always tend to keep frostbolt as well regardless of if I
draw Mana Wyrm.

Keep Beckoner of Evil, or Cult Sorcerer. I also tend to hold onto twilight elder especially if I have the coin,

C’thun! So I would only recommend keeping C’thun if you also draw at
least a couple early drops. C’thun is the finisher in this deck, but you
can easily win games at lower ranks with just the tempo minions and
great mage spells.

UPDATED: Here is an upgraded non-budget version for those have been asking.

Deck I made on a free account.

I was able to build this deck using only the dust from the free packs you get and the first free arena run.

If there is enough interest I will make a brief guide on how to play it.

I make these decks to give f2p players some fun decks to try out
instead of just druid c’thuns. I sometimes sacrifice making the deck
slightly better to put in new and fun cards. Personally I’d rather have
fun and win 50% percent of the time then net deck and win 60% of the
time.
