Of all the cards i’ve seen, and I’ve seen em al,l this card stands out to me as the most directly op card. Think of combobulator, which is good in arena already and can almost make it in constructed. This is strictly 1 mana better. It’s a chillwind yetti that full heals a minion and upgrades it (most of the time). I remember seeing tomb pillager and thought it was very good and as it turned out, it was, it’s almost played in every rogue deck. When I saw this i have a feeling this is BETTER!!!

I made a deck using this card, but I still feel the deck needs work, and so could you help me perfect it.

I feel like I’m the person most excited for this card. Base value its a yeti that played on curve gives you 2 four costs on turn 4, that’s amazing. Plus there are a lot of cards that synergize with Battlecry, I feel like this is an auto-include.

Currently this is THE highest rated card of the expansion, with the most votes of any card released so far; it is highly unlikely that you’re more excited than everyone else.

That said, I fully agree that this is an incredible card, and I’m happy to see Shaman getting some powerful options that have neither Overload nor obvious Aggro implications. And as several have noted before me, the TFB synergy is awesome. Brann + TFB + this = possible Tirion on turn 4.

With any other class I’d say this may be OP. Most of Shaman’s cards are “discounted” via overload mechanic, so this card makes sense. Will pair very well with Thing from Below, which can be played on turn 4 and then turned into a 7 mana minion.

Sweet Al’Akir the Win Lord into a King Krush….

If Al’Akir can stay on the board for a turn.

Except Emperor Thaurissan reduces the card cost and I suspect that it’ll affect the actual cost of the card not the printed one – same as Summoning Stone.

Since recombobulator considers the base mana cost of cards and not the actual mana you spent I think it is pretty safe to assume that this card will do the same. If the effect of this card would be any different then the effect of using this card on summoned minions(through heropowers, spells or other minions) would be very unintuitive.

Too bad recombobulator is GvG 🙁
Blizzard should really make exceptions in standard for cool cards like recombobulator that aren’t OP…

What is cool is it can help recapture lost tempo if you had to totem up in an early turn (which with the Thing from Below isn’t that bad anyway) and the opponent didn’t remove it because it can turn it into a random 2-drop, which means turn 4 can be pretty strong. Great fit in Shaman!

The “master” of upgrowth is some corrupted tentacle being with the all-seeing eye above it’s head?

3rd outstanding shaman card in the expanson!
They might be going overboard with the class.

If Mounted Raptor dies in Standard mode, could a 1 mana cost minion of gvg be spawned?

absolutely cannot wait, I’m really tired of the cookie-cutter overload aggro decks

Brann Bronzebeard anyone? Pretty reasonable for a turn 7 play with almost any other creature on your board.

      April 1, 2016 at 12:49 pm

But what happens if Brann gets transformed? Will it transform a second time?

      • A Kraken
        April 1, 2016 at 12:57 pm

Well it probably won’t since Brann bronzebeard’s effect will begone after the first transformation. But the best case scenario would be to hit a 6 drop. Maybe even that new one that reduces in cost per totem summoned. As of writing this comment there will be 12 possible 8 drops to get from transforming a 6 drop twice. 9 of those will be available legendaries for standard.

          April 1, 2016 at 1:00 pm

It could also be good on a 5 drop allowing for a stickier minion like Cairne Bloodhoof

      • Lennon255
        April 1, 2016 at 1:22 pm

Actually yes. The second battlecry is queued to happen before the first one activates so it will in fact transform brann into a random 5 mana creature.

    • TacoRocco
      April 1, 2016 at 12:56 pm

I think with Brann it will only trigger once since the minion you originally targeted would not be on the battlefield anymore to be transformed. If it randomly targeted a friendly minion, it could potentially trigger twice.

      • Lennon255
        April 1, 2016 at 1:23 pm

It will trigger twice. It makes Recombobulator double trigger so it makes absolutely no sense why it wouldn’t work with this.
