Blizzard just posted a quick update on the bot ban status. The last one was posted a month ago and contained 110k bans.
As it turns out, the latest wave is way, way bigger than that, with a total of 642k bans. The fight against bots rages on, and while the ban waves are very much appreciated, let’s hope that they finally come up with more systemic solutions for the issue.

Since last month’s update, we’ve actioned nearly 642,000 additional accounts for botting. That is in addition to the bans we levied against players using cheating software to play illegal cards in Twist mode early in this season. We’ll continue regularly punishing these bad actors to make our Tavern a better place for all our real players.
