Looks like we won’t have to wait long for the next expansion to be announced! Blizzard has revealed that it will be announced at the HCT Spring Championships on Thursday, July 6th at 7pm PDT!
There’s not a lot currently known about the next expansion other than some speculation on Reddit that might point towards it being “Return of the Lich King” but we’ve had nothing to confirm it. The best we have is the promotional image that was used to display the Standard rotation schedule for Year of the Mammoth:

@Evident what do you think about the new expansion? i mean name, what will it be?
The return of the Lich King is about 90% to be true because the image we have has runes on it and as i checked these are the runes from Arthas sword Frostmourne! What do you think?
I’m not sure what the name will be, but we’re long overdo for something with Arthas.
