Can anyone please tell me why to pick up loot hoarders instead of novice engineers?

Cause loot horder is a 2/1 so it can kill 3/2, basically it more of a border present then novice

I’m on a streak and having fun with Freeze mage in the current meta. Most people are playing quests and the games longer on the average. This deck shines if the game goes long, unless you’re dealing with a warrior with tons of armor.

Right now I’m trying to decide between Glyphs or Dirty Rats.

If you can get 0 or 1 mana cost spells from the Glyphs, Antonidas will have more value if you can keep him alive for more than one turn. Otherwise you can really only expect one extra fireball if you play Antonidas on turn 9 or later.

The Rats can really ruin your opponent’s plan and sometimes piss them off so much that they concede. Plus a 6 health taunt can help stall the game a little more.

So I may try one-of for each and see what happens.

    Thoughts?

Rats are very dependent on what is being run. Right now I would say 1 of would be best to keep, as they don’t do anything but provide a small wall and are more of a play to mess with your opponent. An example would be against quest mage, they can ruin the game if they hit Antonidas (or a mage for exodia), but can drop a Giant or Doom as well.

Taking the Glyph out for them is not the greatest idea, though. Most of the time, you will hit 2 fireballs, and can get even more if you hit another glyph. Even if you use them beforehand, you can hit a ton of 0-1 cost spells that synergize with your wincon, making it more reliable.
