I was hesitant about it too but every game that I’ve played him I’ve won. You would think it would power up your opponents more but tip the scales basically wins every game so it’s necessary

Let me tell you, that ugly, no good, silly little little spider is absolutely bonkers in the current meta! made a warlock pay 8 to spellstone after cubing out two of those puppies (or whatever you call a baby spider). It definitely shines against Wall Priest which I assume is its reason for inclusion in the first place, but it has so many great interactions with other decks as well. It allows you to over-commit with relative impunity, its a 5/5 body, it prevents many iterations of getting OTK’ed, etc.

Just make sure you’ve set up your play-line so that you’ve either already burned through your Play Deads and Flanking Strikes, or aren’t dependent on top-decking them while he’s active.
