Cairne is a really good idea. I’ve also used Elise because it guarantees you get Statue.

For the record I’m only a casual player but was able to get to rank 9 with it. I’m pretty sure a more experienced player will do better with it.

Get rid of Spirit Lash and add TWIGHLIGHT’S CALL…. summon Obsidian Statue an average of 10 to 16 times per game to control the board. It also only costs 3 mana not 6 like the Dragonfire Potion which mames your own minions as well as your opponents.

I loved your deck so much that I designed my own deck around it. It’s a little lower in cost and offers a little wiggle room for error, especially if you are over drawn and can’t get the card(s) you need.

I’m not a real big fan of Lyra either, especially because the only use I’ve ever really found for Purify, which is something I get quite a bit from lyra, is in the rare event a Warlock gives you Howlfiend. I mean, it can be used on any card for the purpose of generating another spell but it’s a wasted spell in my opinion.

This is a good deck. I replaced Wild Piromancer with Elise the Trailblazer because the deck falls short from draws if things don’t go right and you aren’t short on cards in that event. Plus the added benefits of gaining a 5 hit minion, and on the the return you have another low cost spell with a bonus 5 additional cards.

I really like this deck, it’s right on. I’ve never had luck with a lot of the others that have high ratings on this site.

1) This deck leaves the player sitting in wait for cards to be drawn that may NEVER be drawn.

2) It has no counter to the Jade deck which is one of the most common decks in the game.

3) No counter to the high burst Hunter. When a Hunter comes out with Scavenging Hyena to build while you are still playing the draw a card game (Loot Hoarder, Novice Engineer, Northshire Cleric), if you are even lucky enough to be given these cards, he’s already outplayed you by turn 7. The more common scenario is you are sitting there with Prophet Velen and Raza in your hand, sitting in wait for a playable minion or spell.

4) It is miserably humiliating when a steal priest steal draws from YOUR deck, the playable cards you are sitting there waiting for and beats you with your own deck!

5) There are far too many 1 cost spells in this deck. Skulking Geist undoubtedly removes them before they come out. If you get one (or two of them, tops) you’re in a game with a deficit.

4:09 PM – I have played this deck all morning and all afternoon. My win rate is now 6%. If this is such a great deck then someone needs to start questioning Blizzard to find out why so many people claim such a high success with it with the exception of one single player because that would mean Blizzard has singled me out to shit all over and I really doubt a corporation of this size has the time to seek out one single person. There have been a lot of criticisms of Blizzard ethics, specifically some of the devs who have been accused on too many occasions to count, of rigging the game. I am not one of the people saying it and I find it to be the least likely scenario.

The fact is that no PRIEST DECK dominates ANYTHING right now. Priests do not have cards that stack. It is the ONLY class that doesn’t. Priests do not have a viable set of cards that can be balanced against the two examples I named above; Druid deck and Hunter deck. Heck this deck can even be overtaken by a steal Rogue and a Murloc Shaman!

Seriously, you say you’ve reached rank 33 with this. I’m not sure why you think that is an accomplishment especially when this site if filled with other classes who are rank 32 and better who all have outplayed and humiliated this deck. I see NO priests in the top ranks.

If you are willing to settle for mediocre, then by all means, present this deck.

Nope, not buying it. I’ve been playing all morning. I have an 18% win rate. I have been maining a priest not only in WoW but also in Hearthstone. I am more than familiar with the way the cards interact with one another.

I repeat, this is NOT a good deck.

Your deck sucks! This is basics CASUAL/STANDARD play, not even ranked or arena. Stop misleading people!

In fact, I just played 4 standard games with it and lost all 4 by turn 5. (Friday, 9/22/2017 – 10pm).

I don’t know what leads you to believe this deck dominates unless YOU are the troll here which I’m apt to believe. This deck sucks. There are ZERO counters in the first 5 turns, you just sit there waiting for the perfect card to come out. By the time is does you’re already dead.

Not trolling. I’ve been playing this deck since the start of the xpac.

This is not a good deck and I really wish people would stop duplicating it. It’s nothing more than another duplicate “Big Priest” with a 1 or 2 card difference. It will not get beyond rank 18 in standard play and certainly has no arena value. People need to stop upvoting this garbage.

I tried this deck and lost every single match up I’ve played. There’s so much RNG and waiting around for the right cards. I don’t know if Blizzard fucked me on permanent bad RNG but without fail My first draws have been cards I am unable to play until at least turn 6 at which point the match is over.
