I was wondering the same when reading the decklist, but I think it’s basically a redundancy effect to thin the deck with the added benefit of providing 2 charge minions that can be copied with the location.

It’s not ideal when you draw the 2 0 cost one’s first though.

That being said, it’s really fun deck and I am thoroughly enjoying playing it.

This is a very, very difficult deck to play, combining the high skill ceiling of Malygos druid with pounce combo druid. It has different win conditions but you need to understand the infinite mechanic with Elise (google/youtube it) but most games you win just by chip damage and occasional finishing with combos.
