Yes I agree Hearthstone is expensive. Don’t have to say that other pays a lot to make a point. The truth is, I never paid a cent to this game. I’m playing only when I have time. I’m pure F2P. I’m not a Blizzard fan either. If I can’t play or hate the game, then I won’t play.

But please don’t make a game turns you into a hater. If you like playing the game, that’s already a good news. If you don’t like it, feel free to play other games. Don’t let the game dictate your life, (or makes you become a hater). You know better about your own life and how to enjoy it.

As for the generous part. Free stuff is always welcomed, but it’s not happening, so we just have to accept whatever they’re throwing at our direction. I can say that they’ve think twice before doing anything now, because of the BP fiasco. Just imagine what would happen if there’s no outrage? They could be more selfish and charge us more.

well, instead of making us open up to 30 packs (3K) per miniset (and it’s still not guarantee all epic and legend cards), they just charge it 2K to get it all.
while it’s true it’s expensive, it’s a better option nonetheless.

OR.
if you’ve been hoarding DMF packs, you can skip the bundle and save 2K, and it’s still guarantee to give you all new common and rare cards, but for the rest, you may have to craft it.
As for myself, I can always save 2K gold and getting all the cards. The dust value is greater too.

Welp, I’m surprised you don’t include classic neutral legendaries in this article.
I would be interested to see your view on some of them, like Gruul, or The Beast, or them Dragons.

Good news, based on leaked info on reddit, the miniset will arrived on 21st Jan.
You could buy the entire 35 cards with $15 or 2000 golds. (GA adventure took 2800 golds)
So unusually generous from them. I had to praise them for this.

No, they’re not taking away Classic, only Hall of Fame. They only gonna rework Classic (At least that is what I heard).
It is safe to say that Basic & Classic set is always necessary, if not for the random shenanigans, it’s there to help new players to quickly understand the flow of card designs.
But still, most of us don’t have any knowledge of what’s going to happen.

Gonna need to set my alarm for the next Wednesday session. Even if I don’t have high chance to get my question answered. Sadly, its PST time. I probably asleep already.

Classic rework is “complicated” and questions about it “will be answered soonish”, but “it’s a good change”. This point reminds me of the whole BattlePass fiasco. Nope, not gonna fall for it the 2nd time.
Not gonna be very optimistic when it comes to the promises like this again.

With the whole HoF gone, I feel like players will be disappointed when losing extra dust every rotation.
And this is a bad thing. Issues like this makes me worry. Until I see the full details, I won’t believe them.

They have their own place called Hall of Fame deck. Only craftable via dust.

All weapon durability is always 2 at minimum.
Considering other aspect of the weapon itself, devs pointed out that the nerf is intended to reduce shaman ability to put pressure on board with cards like Dread Corsair, allowing opponent some time to counter.

Plus, even if it’s not too significant, the total damage from 2xKnuckles + 2xPillager is reduced by 4 damage, to 28.

it is stated above that you will no longer get compensation for HoF cards.
Please read it again. So the max dust you will get is now only.
Crafting golden Edwin after that will only make you lose dust.

Power level in the wild is overwhelming. My point remains, HoF cards is problematic.
So please don’t take it for granted. I mean, I’m purely speculating.
But I still can’t ignore it if there’s a slim chance for it to happen.
If it is, well, take it with salt. 100% pure salt.

Rotating old expansion surely fix some problem, but many F2P won’t be able to catch up, since most of them auto dust wild card as soon as they leave standard.
Between making event like Tomb of Terror where they gave us copies of 23 wild cards, or they make a custom play mode where we can decide the rules ourselves. (I prefer latter)
Just like custom maps in warcraft 3.

It’s a sad truth about class style. I can’t disagree with that. especially when Wild still exist.
But all in all, we’ve had pretty good rework towards F2P even with all the dramas.

The only minus point is still communication like you pointed out. I wish they’re more pro-active in discussing what they’ll do instead of knocking the hammer down that quick. I know nerf is needed at some point, but communication still far more important.

We shall see what kind of big changes they were talking about soon. Can’t wait for sure. My guess? They announce it within the Online Blizzcon
