Finally hit legend on 25th with 131/94 record. Aggro pallys extremely favorable match up

Reached rank 3 very early in the season and then moved on to zoolock because too many secret paladins and double combo druids.

Tips about the deck

– t1 argent squire or coin mininot followed by dire wolf alpha is possibly the best start as it usually gives you a good, free trade that might put you on the right track for the whole game (Leper also does a decent job at trading 3life early minions this way, and there are other usable boosts than wolf on t2)

– As you might have noticed already, I was talking about trading with an aggro deck : this isn’t an error, that’ s how this deck works : Gameplay rather like a Hybrid Hunter, ie spending 3 or 4 turns to establish board advantage, and then start pushing as your opponent is doomed to play defensively for the whole game.

– Blessing of wisdom is why you can compete with zoos, out-resource hunters and do very decent in control matchups : It’s a CRUCIAL part of the deck : the point is to buff (at best) a divine shield minion with a LOW attack value. This will force your opponents to invest sometimes two cards/attacks into something that represents very little damage on board, instead of trading more efficiently damage wise. Last resort it can be used on an opponent’s minion to slow thigns down.

Tech substitutions :

– too many taunts => 2nd owl

– board control too hard to maintain => squeeze in a duplicating ooze

But I think the deck is pretty tuned for the current meta as it is, have fun with it!
