The pirate combo proved strong until now for refreshing my hero power or just playing something early. Actually all tge idea behind the deck is to draw the combo faster than usual i even used curator at first so i could draw (golakka, twilight drake, coldlight oracle) but it was bad.
I totally agree with shadow visions i will try it, maybe i will remove a holy nova
also swifting shade can also be changed for another defensive card.
I keep on testing the deck and make changes i posted it to share the idea with other people and make the deck better.

I just lost from that deck i was so sure it wasnt original i came here and see what i found…the grook fu master destroyed me ( i was playing priest)

i was watching the stream and this deck is awesome! everyone who likes control mage should try this deck!

Its a safe card to craft because for the next 2 years of this expansion every control paladin deck is propably going to use this card.

I wouldn’t suggest conjurer dies to a 2-3 drop you just want his battlecry, but with so many removals and the fire power of ragnaros you can hit his face for 8 maybe for two turns ( 16 DMG is half his life )

I will try this deck today and I maybe post some results later. I am missing blood knight some I will fit an equality since you use double consecration. Maybe vs control priest you may run out of easy that why they used ragnaros in secret pala you also needed another threat. Overall opinion seems nice upvote from me 🙂

It looks awesome in my opinion you may want to change the demonfire since you don’t have a lot of demon and power overwhelming since your main win condition is cthun. Maybe a bgh and some kind of healing would be a good idea

I would swap -1 sky golem +1 sylvanas or cairne

I tried this deck at rank 5 and i currently am rank 3 that deck is awesome! I lose mostly to secret pala if I don’t draw my execute early. I my opinion this deck is good versus druid, tempo mages, zoolock and face hunter is OK. Bad matchups for me are secret paladin, dragon priest and control priest.
