I agree Safari! I’m super pumped for this new challenge and have no qualms with it replacing the silly Tavern Brawl for the week. I knew saving my gold was going to pay off down the road. And now it has! So much negativity comes out when the designers launch a new thing. If you don’t like it, don’t play it and play a game mode you like. Pretty simple!

i was watching him stream this and his comment was they are too essential with: FOK, shadow strike, evis, gadgetzan, shiv, si agent, sprint, and edwin all in the deck. i have been using this deck and i did get burned by not having an active reno exactly one time so far in 20 games. i swapped a huckster for doomsayer bc doomsayer has negative synergy w barnes. i’m contemplating putting the doomsayer back in to slow down the early game, and also considering swapping huckster for either xaril (for more goodies) or infested tauren (for more consistency and the extra taunt).

Highly controversial choices. I enjoyed reading your analyses, even though I disagree with some choices. I think you are spot on with Doomhammer and Divine Favor. I like some of your nerf recommendations – Savage Roar limited to minions and Abusive Sergeant’s battlecry granting +1 attack. Your Ice Block take is interesting – I agree Freeze Mage isn’t as fun to play against, but when playing it there is a moderate level of strategy you have to employ, I think the card is OK as is for now and maybe we’ll get some more Secret interaction down the road. I don’t, however, have any problems with Fiery War Axe, Execute, Azure Drake, Battle Rage, or Prep. And c’mon man, if Power Word Shield really IS one of the best spells in the game as you say, let’s just let Anduin have it… it’s not doing him a lot of good anyway 🙂

Not ALL Discover cards ONLY find class cards of current class, as you say. If you use “light in the darkness” to discover a minion, you can discover lots of minions that aren’t Paladin minions. But because this card is discover a spell, i see now that you can only discover spells of your current class.

With Ivory Knight… the write-up assumes the discovered spell will be a Paladin spell. How do you know you won’t Discover a spell from another class? It doesn’t say “Discover a PALADIN spell.”
