Tavern Brawl – Brawliseum – Battle of the Bans

Tavern Brawl has been disabled until tomorrow (November 14th) due to technical issues. Once it comes back, it will be a different Brawl (we don’t know which one yet). Read more here.

This week’s Tavern Brawl is “Brawliseum – Battle of the Bans”!

Brawliseum – Battle of the Bans Chalkboard

Official Description for Brawliseum – Battle of the Bans

The Ban Battle has reached the Brawliseum! Pick four cards. Your opponent will BAN one of them, then we’ll make you a deck full of the cards remaining.

General Information

  • There’s no regular card pack for the first win, but you get a free Brawliseum ticket instead (which is worth even more).
  • It’s the second time we’ve seen this Brawl, but first time in a Brawliseum format.
  • It’s a build your own deck Brawl.
  • The Brawl’s format is Standard.
  • It’s a Brawliseum, which means that players have to pay for the entry (first one is free) and then fight to 12 wins or 3 loses, whichever comes first. It’s basically an Arena format with Constructed decks and Tavern Brawl rules! It’s the 8th Brawliseum we’ve seen.
  • The rules are simple – you build a deck with 4 cards, your opponent bans one of them at the start, so you end up with multiple copies of the 3 cards remaining shuffled in. The goal is to pick a deck that is functioning no matter what card your opponent bans – decks with only a single win condition are a big no-no.

Brawliseum – Battle of the Bans Deck Lists

No deck lists yet! We’ll update this post with some once people start testing them. You can also post your ideas in the comments and we’ll add them if they’re interesting!

Brawl has been temporarily disabled due to technical issues – after losing 3 games you couldn’t start another run and the whole screen got bugged. We’ll update you when it’s available again!

I went with murlocs as Shaman:
    – Murloc Tidecaller
    – Sludge Slurper
    – Underbelly Angler
    – Fishflinger.
5 wins and counting until brawl was disabled.

I think this brawl is extremely boring only having 3 different cards the whole time
