Shop Update: Mini-Set, Darkmoon Faire Treasures, New Skins, Signature & Diamond Cards, Battlegrounds Bundles

Update: Disruptor’s Delight Signature Bundle is now available again after the bug has been fixed.

Another shop update dropped today! The mini-set is now available – as a reminder, mini-sets are always the best value. The 2000 Gold / $15 spent on them gives you way more than most of the other purchases. Even though this one looks pretty weak I think it’s still worth it. We also got a second edition of “Darkmoon Faire Treasures” with a new pet – Rabbit’ath. After asking for our feedback last time, Blizzard listened to exactly nothing and released it the same way as before. Cool. Other than that, there are a few new skins and Signature/Diamond cards. Oh, and we finally got some new Battlegrounds bundles – those are pretty rate outside of the new Battle Passes. Anyway, here are all of the new items that are available this week:

  • Day of Rebirth Mini-Set (2000 Gold or $15) – A new mini-set with 38 unique cards in their normal versions. You can find a full list of cards here.
  • Golden Day of Rebirth Mini-Set (10,000 Gold or $70) – A new mini-set with 38 unique cards in their Golden versions + diamond version of Beast Speaker Taka. You can find a full list of cards here.
  • Darkmoon Faire Treasures Rabbit’ath (all rolls cost 15,800 Runestones or $158) – Each roll gives you a random prize, from 1 Golden Un’Goro pack or Common Signature Card, all the way to Rabbit’ath Pet. First roll is free, then the cost increases each time. Rewards are weighted – for example, on your first roll you have 30% chance to get Signature Common, 28% to get a pack, 2.5% chance to get Signature Legendary, and only 0.1% chance to get the pet. You can find a full list of odds here (under “Darkmoon Faire Treasures” tab).
  • Diamond Xal’atath Bundle (2500 Runestones or $25) – New Diamond Priest skin + 3 Priest card packs + 2 Golden Standard card packs.
  • World Shaman Thrall (1000 Runestones or $10) – New lite Shaman skin + 5 Shaman card packs.
  • Disruptor’s Delight Signature Bundle (2000 Runestones or $20 – 2x Signature Rustrot Viper + 2x Signature Royal Librarian + 2x Signature Dirty Rat.
  • Signature Staff of the Endbringer Legendary Card (1500 Runestones or $15) – Signature version of Staff of the Endbringer.
  • Signature Legendary Card Chillin’ Vol’jin (2500 Runestones or $25) – Signature version of Chillin' Vol'jin.
  • Signature Legendary Card Tortolla (2500 Runestones or $25) – Signature version of Tortolla.
  • Diamond Razidir Bundle (3500 Runestones or $35) – Diamond version of Razidir + 3 Golden Lost City of Un’Goro card packs.
  • Xal’atath’s Harbinger Happy Hour Battlegrounds Bundle (2000 Runestones or $20) – Epic Xal’atath Bartender + 3 Epic Hero skins + 1 Rare Hero skin + 1 Rare emote.
  • Alleria’s Void Vintage Battlegrounds Bundle (2000 Runestones or $20) – Epic Alleria Bartender + The War Within Legendary Strike + 2 Rare Hero skins.

Tier 1 skins are “premium” ones while Tier 2 are more basic. In general, Tier 1 skins tend to include more extra features like completely new emotes, Hero Power animations, unique Hero tray, or some extra visual effects. Some of those might also be included in Tier 2 skins, but usually only 1 of those special features is present (if any). It’s not an official classification – it’s just something we use to differentiate between more basic and premium skins!

New items usually stay in the shop for around 1-2 weeks – sometimes it’s longer (3 or more weeks) but I wouldn’t universally count on that, so if you’re interested in one of them, get them soon.

worth nothing that the Disruptor’s Delight bundle got pulled since the cards weren’t being awarded properly when it was bought.

      Thanks, I’ll update the post.

The game seems to have a lot more issues lately…

They fixed it now; its back on the shop 🙂

Also the footer text here still references “tier 1” and 2 skins.
