Shop Update: New & Returning Hero Skins, Diamond Cards, Card Pack Bundles

Another shop update dropped today! It’s a mid-sized update with some new Valentine’s Day-themed skins and (I assume) last batch of returning Chinese New Year skins. We also have a new Diamond card bundle (two Diamon cards for $60…) and some card pack bundles. The latter include a Twist-themed bundle with Caverns of Time + Un’Goro packs, but the price is really weird ($20 for 20 packs with old cards and nothing else). Anyway, here are all of the new items that are available this week:

  • Heartbreaker Whitemane Bundle (1000 Runestones or $10– New Tier 2 Priest skin + 5 Priest card packs.
  • Cupid Brann Bundle (1000 Runestones or $10– New Tier 2 Hunter skin + 5 Hunter card packs.
  • Diao Chan Valeera Hero Set (1500 Gold or $10) – Returning Tier 1 Rogue skin. Originally available from a bundle in February 2021.
  • Guan Yu Uther (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Paladin skin. Originally available from a bundle in February 2021.
  • Diamond Murmur & Exarch Maladaar (6000 Runestones or $60) – Diamond copies of Murmur and Exarch Maladaar Legendary cards.
  • Year of the Pegasus Bundle (2000 Runestones or $20) – 20 Year of the Pegasus (2024) card packs + 2 random Legendary cards from YotP expansions.
  • Golden Year of the Pegasus Bundle (5000 Runestones or $50) – 10 Golden Year of the Pegasus (2024) card packs + 1 random Legendary card from YotP expansions.
  • Return to Un’Goro Bundle (2000 Runestones or $20) – 10 Caverns of Time card packs + 10 Journey to Un’Goro card packs.

Tier 1 skins are “premium” ones while Tier 2 are more basic. In general, Tier 1 skins tend to include more extra features like completely new emotes, Hero Power animations, unique Hero tray, or some extra visual effects. Some of those might also be included in Tier 2 skins, but usually only 1 of those special features is present (if any). It’s not an official classification – it’s just something we use to differentiate between more basic and premium skins! Blizzard has a few categories of their own for the more expensive skins (Diamond, Legendary, Mythic), but they don’t differentiate between the regular skins.

wow, i can spend 20 bucks to get 20 packs for standard PLUS 2 LEGENDS,
    or
i can spend 20 bucks to get 20 packs for twist PLUS NO LEGENDS

and those dorks at blizzard wonder why nobody wants to get invested in twist.
    that’s ridiculous
