Shop Update: Into the Emerald Dream Pre-Purchase, New & Returning Skins, Signature & Diamond Cards, Tavern Tickets

Update: Apparently, the “Return to the Badlands” bundle can also be purchased for 3000 Gold. I didn’t have this option when I first took the screenshots, but I’m adding the info now.

Another shop update dropped today yesterday! (Because of the expansion announcement, I didn’t have time to make this post.) It’s a major patch and those always come with hefty shop updates, but this one is REALLY BIG. Possibly the biggest shop update we ever had when it comes to number of new/returning items. We have Pre-Orders for the upcoming expansion, lots of new and returning Hero skins, multiple Signature/Diamond bundles, and even the usual refresh of Tavern Tickets. Anyway, here are all of the new items that are available this week:

  • Creature of Madness (Free) – Claim two free copies of Creature of Madness (the cards are from the upcoming expansion but you can play them now).
  • Into the Emerald Dream Mega Pre-Purchase Bundle (8000 Runestones or $80) – 80 Emerald Dream card packs + 10 Golden Emerald Dream card packs + Signature Malorne the Waywatcher + 1 random Golden Legendary from the expansion + 4 Tavern Tickets + Ysera Druid Cosmetic Hero + Ysera Card Back.
  • The Great Dark Beyond Pre-Purchase Bundle (5000 Runestones or $50) – 60 Emerald Dream card packs + 2 random Legendary cards from the expansion + Ysera Card Back.
  • Genn Greymane Bundle (2500 Runestones or $25) – New Diamond Warrior skin + 3 Warrior card packs + 2 Golden Standard card packs. (Genn Greymane changes form between Human and Worgen.)

  • Scourgelord Godfrey Bundle (1000 Runestones or $10) – New Tier 2 Warlock skin + 5 Warlock card packs.
  • Return to the Badlands Bundle (3000 Gold or $20) – Returning Tier 2 Demon Hunter (Deadeye Aranna) and Rogue (Bandit Edwin) skins. Both were originally available from a shop bundle in December 2023.
  • N’Zoth Hero Set (1500 Gold or $10) – Returning Tier 1 Warlock skin + related card back. Originally available from Madness at the Darkmoon Faire Mega Pre-Purchase Bundle.
  • Queen Azshara Hero Set (1500 Gold or $10) – Returning Tier 1 Mage skin + related card back. Originally available from Voyage to the Sunken City Mega Pre-Purchase Bundle.
  • Sanguine Sylvanas (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Hunter skin. Originally available from the Murder at Castle Nathria paid rewards track (Tavern Pass).
  • Fallen Yrel (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Paladin skin. Originally available from the March of the Lich King paid rewards track (Tavern Pass).
  • Pianoman Hedanis (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Priest skin. Originally available from the Showdown in the Badlands paid rewards track (Tavern Pass).
  • Naga Sylvanas (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Hunter skin. Originally available from the Voyage to the Sunken City paid rewards track (Tavern Pass).
  • Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set Signatures (2500 Runestones or $25) – Signature versions of SCV, Void Ray and Zergling.
  • Signature The Great Dark Beyond Bundle (2500 Runestones or $25) – Random Signature Legendary card from The Great Dark Beyond expansion + 7 GDB card packs.
  • Golden Signature The Great Dark Beyond Bundle (5000 Runestones or $50) – 2 Random Signature Legendary cards from The Great Dark Beyond expansion + 5 Golden GDB card packs.
  • Diamond Talgath (3000 Runestones or $30– Diamond version of Talgath.
  • 2 Random The Great Dark Beyond Legendary Cards ($8) – 2 Random Legendary cards from The Great Dark Beyond expansion.
  • Random Whizbang Signature Legendary (5000 Gold) – 1 Random Signature Legendary card from Whizbang’s Workshop expansion.
  • Random Perils in Paradise Signature Legendary (5000 Gold) – 1 Random Signature Legendary card from Perils in Paradise expansion.
  • Tavern Ticket Bundle (2000 Runestones or $20) – 11 Tavern Tickets (you can use them to start a new Arena run).
  • Tavern Ticket Mega Bundle (4000 Runestones or $40) – 25 Tavern Tickets (you can use them to start a new Arena run).

Tier 1 skins are “premium” ones while Tier 2 are more basic. In general, Tier 1 skins tend to include more extra features like completely new emotes, Hero Power animations, unique Hero tray, or some extra visual effects. Some of those might also be included in Tier 2 skins, but usually only 1 of those special features is present (if any). It’s not an official classification – it’s just something we use to differentiate between more basic and premium skins! Blizzard has added their own “rarities” for Battlegrounds skins, but they haven’t done it so far for Constructed (other than Diamond & Legendary Heroes).

New items usually stay in the shop for around 1-2 weeks – sometimes it’s longer (3 or more weeks) but I wouldn’t universally count on that, so if you’re interested in one of them, get them soon.
