“Restocking Soon” – Battlegrounds Announcement Teased

Blizzard just dropped a teaser on social media. Instead of describing it myself, I’ll just copy the image’s alt text from the official post:

A “crystal ball” made of some blue paper stretched over and taped onto a green volleyball. Text on the paper says “Restocking soon…” It sits atop a plush purple pillow, which is itself sitting on a red pillow. The Battlegrounds logo can be found on a medallion keychain in the bottom corner.

Thanks to the Battlegrounds logo, we know that they are teasing an upcoming announcement for that mode. As for the “crystal ball” itself, I frankly have no idea. Maybe the new mechanic will have something to do with reading the future/fortune telling? If you have some thoughts feel free to share them in the comments!

A new Battlegrounds season usually drops around 4 weeks after the expansion’s launch. The last few seasons were announced 12-14 days before launch. Everything lines up with the usual schedule, so if we get an announcement this week, we can probably expect the season to launch in 2 weeks.
