Realz – Watcher Druid vs. Celerity – Bloodlust Shaman

Celerity gets a very strong hand and keeps the pressure on Realz throughout the game. The Shaman finishes the game with a rare Bloodlust sighting.

Result: Celerity Wins (1 – 1)

Game 3

Realz – Kitkatz Control Warrior (Not exact list, he uses a Harrison Jones) vs. Celerity – Bloodlust Shaman

Realz keeps having to clear away Celerity’s constant minions. Celerity is able to take Realz down to low health and forces Realz to use an Alexstrasza. The Shaman uses a Doomhammer into Rockbiter Weapon which finishes off Realz.

Result: Celerity Wins (2 – 1)

Game 4

Realz – Miracle Rogue vs. Celerity – Bloodlust Shaman

Here comes the deck that won Realz the recent Tavern Takeover Tournament. The game is back and forth, but Realz starts to go off with his Gadgetzan Auctioneer.  In a surprise, Realz makes a major misplay playing a Preparation while his Auctioneer was silenced. Fortunately for Realz, a Blade Flurry wipes the board and a Leeroy Jenkins finishes off the Shaman.

Result: Realz Wins (2 – 2)

Game 5

Realz – Miracle Rogue vs. Celerity – HandLock

The HandLock is taking a beating early, and burns a Mountain Giant due to a full hand. He’s down to 6 health and Realz is holding a Leeroy Jenkins and a Shadowstep. Eviscerate takes out a taunt and Leeroy Jenkins cleans up the HandLock.

Result: Realz Wins (3 – 2)

Realz vs. Gaara

Game 1

Realz – Watcher Druid vs. Gaara – HandLock

Realz gets a ton of cards out early, and plays aggressively by silencing his Ancient Watcher. Gaara gets a big Twilight Drake and Mountain Giant taunted, but the Giant eats a Big Game Hunter. Realz is able to clear, but uses a lot of his board to do so. Sylvanas Windrunner comes out for Gaara, which forces Realz to use his board to clear it out. A Chillwind Yeti eats a Siphon Soul, and out comes an Ancient of Lore for Realz. A Mountain Giant comes out for Gaara, which is easily dispatched with an Argent Protector and a Swipe. Gaara is forced to taunt up a Twilight Drake, but Realz has a Spellbreaker and that seals Gaara’s fate.

Result: Realz Wins (1 – 0)

Game 2

Realz – Watcher Druid vs. Gaara – Ramp Druid

It’s time for Gaara to bring out his trump card, which is the deck he rarely loses with: Ramp Druid. A huge swing for Realz when he Innervates out The Black Knight and takes out a taunted Druid of the Claw. Realz keeps the board clear with a Keeper of the Grove silence, and again he uses Keeper of the Grove to take out an Ancient of War. Gaara’s able to use Sylvanas which forces Realz to use his board to clear it. Realz is WAY ahead of Gaara in cards and still has board control. Gaara is playing from behind throughout the whole game, and Realz makes easy work of Gaara’s Ramp Druid.

Result: Realz Wins (2 – 0)

Game 3

Realz – Watcher Druid vs. Gaara – Midrange Shaman (Not Exact List)

Gaara comes out quick with tons of pressure from Feral Spirit and an Unbound Elemental. A Swipe from Realz helps slow him down, but a Defender of Argus pushes more damage from Gaara’s Wolves. Gaara seems to feel he has Realz done, and he draws a Lightning Bolt to finish him off.

Result: Gaara Wins (1 – 2)

Game 4

Realz – Kitkatz Control Warrior (Not exact list, he uses a Harrison Jones) vs. Gaara – Midrange Shaman (Not Exact List)

Gaara gets some early board with a bunch of totems and Feral Spirit, but Fiery War Axe does some cleaning up for Realz. Fire Elemental eats a Kor’Kron Elite, but the Fire Elemental is quickly dispatched. A Whirlwind into Baron Geddon clears a bunch of totems and a Defender of Argus for Realz. Gaara quickly rids the board of Baron with a spell powered Lightning Bolt into a Earth Shock. Realz uses an Alexstrasza to take Gaara down to 15, it gets a hex, but Gaara plays a Stormforged Axe which is quickly put into a museum by Harrison Jones. Gaara is top decking, and is facing down a Ragnaros the Firelord from Realz. Gaara is drawing dead and Realz takes the series!

Result: Realz Wins (3 – 1)

Realz is the new King of the Hill!
