Murder at Castle Nathria Rewards Track Refresh Details

Murder at Castle Nathria expansion is coming out next week, and just like every set, it will come with a rewards track refresh. On August 2, all players will get reset to Level 1 and earn new rewards as they climb back up. Here's a quick summary:

• Overall, the base track rewards seem to be basically the same as in the previous expansion (Voyage to the Sunken City). Unless I missed something, rewards exactly match level to level, so no surprises there. There's a slight difference in Tavern Pass, though - we're getting -1 Constructed skins (10 vs 11) and -2 Battlegrounds skins (5 vs 7) if I'm counting it correctly. That said, the last expansion was kind of an outlier and we got more cosmetics than usual, so we're basically "back to normal".
• This expansion's free Legendary every player gets at Level 1 is Sire Denathrius.
• We're getting two new Diamond cards - Murloc Holmes (Tavern Pass Level 1) and Decimator Olgra (Owning 25 expansion Legendaries) + two new cosmetic Coins - Venthyr (Tavern Pass Level 90) and Castle Nathria (Owning 135 expansion cards).
• Tavern Pass comes with XP Boosts, one Constructed Hero skin for each class, one card back, five Battlegrounds skins, Battlegrounds Bartender, three Mercenaries portraits, Diamond Murloc Holmes, Golden Prince Renathal, 2x Golden Insatiable Devourer, and a new cosmetic coin.

It’s almost time to sink your teeth into a new Rewards Track! When the Rewards Track refreshes with the Murder at Castle Nathria launch, all players will automatically be granted any unclaimed rewards on both the free Rewards Track and the Tavern Pass track (if purchased), and a completely new Murder at Castle Nathria Rewards Track of unlockable treasure will take its place.

Reminder, Voyage to the Sunken City Achievements will stop awarding XP with the launch of Patch 24.0 on July 26, whereas the Rewards Track will swap over with the launch of Murder at Castle Nathria on August 2.

Murder at Castle Nathria Rewards Track

The free Rewards Track for Murder at Castle Nathria will include packs from Murder at Castle Nathria, Standard packs, Tavern Tickets, a random Epic card, two random Legendary cards, a Sir Finley Epic Mercenary Card, the Revendreth card back, and a lot of Gold! There are also 14 Golden cards and the Sire Denathrius Legendary card from the set.* For finishing the Rewards Track, you’ll get to choose from one of 10 returning Hero Skins.
* These 14 Golden cards (two copies each of seven cards from the set) and the Sire Denathrius Legendary card earned from the Rewards Track are not craftable and can’t be disenchanted.

Regular and Golden copies of Murloc Holmes and Golden copies of Sire Denathrius will be eligible for a full dust refund until August 5, at 10 a.m. PT.

Murder at Castle Nathria Tavern Pass

With the launch of Murder at Castle Nathria, a new Tavern Pass will be made available for purchase, offering an infusion of brand-new cosmetic rewards and XP boosts.

Purchasing the Tavern Pass at any point during the expansion will immediately grant access to the Diamond Murloc Holmes Legendary minion, a 10% XP Boost that lasts the rest of the duration of the expansion, and all other items up to your current level on the paid track. As you progress with the Tavern Pass during the Murder at Castle Nathria expansion, you can earn additional XP Boosts, the Golden Prince Renathal Legendary minion, two Golden Insatiable Devourer Epic minions, the Prince Renathal hero skin and card back, nine additional Hearthstone hero skins, a new Battlegrounds Bartender, five murder-mystery themed Battlegrounds hero skins, three Sir Finley Mercenaries Portraits, and a new cosmetic coin.*
As a reminder, Battlegrounds Perks are not included in the Tavern Pass. With Patch 24.0, Battlegrounds base emotes will be available to all players; all other Battlegrounds Perks from the current Battlegrounds season have been extended until next Battlegrounds season (Patch 24.2) for players who have purchased Battlegrounds Perks. Diamond Cards in Murder at Castle Nathria

Murloc Holmes and Decimator Olgra are the set’s two Diamond cards. The unlock criteria are as follows:

• Murloc Holmes—Instantly obtained by purchasing the Tavern Pass and claiming the card on the Rewards Track.
• Decimator Olgra—Obtained by completing the Murder at Castle Nathria Legendary Collector Achievement (of owning 25 Murder at Castle Nathria Legendary cards).

Two New Cosmetic Coins to Die For

Two new cosmetic Coins are being added with Murder at Castle Nathria, the Venthyr Coin and the Castle Nathria Coin. The Venthyr Coin is obtained by completing the first 90 levels of the Rewards Track with the Tavern Pass. The Castle Nathria Coin is obtained by collecting 135 unique Murder at Castle Nathria cards.

Murder at Castle Nathria will have a 35-card Mini-Set that will make it easier to reach both the 25 total Legendary cards for the Diamond Decimator Olgra Legendary minion and the 135 total unique cards for the Castle Nathria Coin.
