- New Card: Draenei Totemcarver (Shaman) – 4 (4/4): Battlecry: Gain +1/+1 for each friendly Totem.
- New Card: Thunder Bluff Valiant (Shaman) – 5 (3/6): Inspire: Give your Totems +2 Attack.

What’s Going to be Announced?
All signs have pointed toward something to do with the World of Warcraft Argent Tournament Event. This event took place during the Wrath of the Lich King Expansion. How do we know this? Well, Blizzard has been releasing a bunch of teasers with the word CHAMPION scattered throughout them, and sent along invitations to a lucky few that played the Argent Tournament’s theme when opened. There was also a sword falling into the snow added to the main Hearthstone page that relates heavily to Northrend.

Speculating Wildly
I will lay out some of my speculation on what will be announced today. These speculations come from no insider knowledge and are just formulated by the current information and my history following Hearthstone.
Most Likely
A new Hearthstone expansion will be announced, whether or not it’s Argent Tournament time will tell. It will probably be named something different but will have to do with Northrend/Argent Tournament. The timing makes too much sense and it’s likely that expansions will be sandwiched in-between Hearthstone Adventures. It will likely be released next month (based on previous announcements). It also might be added to Arena prior to release so save up that gold!
New Skins for the other Heroes will be announced: Paladin makes sense based off of the teasers.
Semi-Likely
Instead of an expansion, a new Hearthstone Adventure is announced that involves Northrend/Argent Tournament.
Maybe?!
More deck slots! There’s been a clamoring for this for a long time, and it would make sense to announce it at a big event. I don’t really know what’s holding Blizzard back at this point, but I wouldn’t be shocked if it was included into the event.
Highly Unlikely
A new class is announced. This is not going to happen for a while. Try to wrap your head around creating a new class, hero power, and a bunch of new class cards and balancing it around the current 9 classes and cards. It will happen eventually, but I don’t think it happens for at least a couple of years. The counter-argument to this is that the sooner you add a new class the EASIER it would be to balance around the current assortment of cards. I still think it’s very unlikely.
New “Planeswalker” cards probably referred to as “Champions” will be added. Because of the high emphasis on the word “Champion” there’s been some speculation we could see cards that interact differently with the board and have their own Hero Power essentially. This would be unlikely just due to Blizzard wanting to keep Hearthstone relatively simple, and how it would be a logistical nightmare to employ this onto mobile devices.
What’s Argent Tournament without having actual Tournaments added?! A tournament mode would be interesting for Hearthstone, but with Tavern Brawl being released recently I don’t see a new mode happening for a while.
