Hearthstone World Championship 2025 is almost here! After a very competitive year, 16 players from all around the world qualified to the final tournament of the year. Overall it’s been a pretty solid year for Hearthstone esports – we’ve seen more attention to that side of the game than over the last few years, which is a very welcome sight. Let’s hope Blizzard improves it even further next year!
World Championship is the culmination of the entire competitive year. 16 of the best players from all around the world have qualified through different means (Masters Tours, China’s Gold Series, competitive points from ladder, Last Call). They will all fight for the World Champion title as well as their share of the $500,000 prize pool.
World Championship will be played over 4 days, starting on December 18. Because of the 4-day schedule, every singel match will be played on stream. Broadcast starts at 7 AM PT (16:00 CET) each day on PlayHearthstone Twitch channel. The tournament will be cast by Edelweiss, Lorinda, Raven, Sottle and special guests. There’s also an option to co-stream the event, so it’s safe to assume that we will have multiple “unofficial” streams, including ones in different languages.
Choose your Champion is back once again. After you visit this website, you can pick the player you think is going to win. The farther your champion gets, the more packs you earn – up to five Across the Timeways card packs.
Twitch drops will also be active during the event. Watch the tournament on the official Twitch channel to earn up to eight Across the Timeways card packs (2 per day). Just be sure to connect your Twitch and Battle.net accounts if you haven’t done it already.
