Update: Shortly after the hotfix dropped, Blizzard also banned Infinite Wolf from Arena. While the ban technically isn’t a part of this patch, I thought that it’s the best place to share it.
Blizzard just posted patch notes for the 34.4.1 update. It’s a server-side hotfix rolling out today. As usual with those kinds of patches, you don’t have to download anything, but you might not see it immediately (it takes a while to get it out to all players).
The patch includes bug fixes for both Constructed and Battlegrounds, as well as some Battlegrounds balance changes. The patch is actually bigger than usual, with over 20 fixes and dozens of small BG balance adjustments. Sadly, we didn’t get any Arena changes, I really hoped for a ban to Infinite Wolf.

Bug Fixes and Game Improvements
Hearthstone
- Timethief Rafaam: Battlecry should now trigger reliably after all prerequisites are met.
- Husk, Eternal Reaper: Heroes with Eternal Life and 0 Corpses can once again be destroyed by effects.
- Battle at the End Time: Now works with Plot Twist and Gaslight Gatekeeper
- The Fins Beyond Time: Fixed a disconnect that could occur when combined with effects that trigger end of turn twice (e.g., Chrono‑Lord Deios, Drakkari Enchanter).
- Emergency Maneuvers: No longer summons 0‑Health copies
- Morchie now works with Bygone Doomspeaker
Battlegrounds
- Timewarped Embalmer: Now correctly grants Reborn when you Magnetize a minion.
- Profound Thinker: If it gains Windfury during combat (e.g., via Spellcraft), it will now attack twice as expected.
- Timewarped Lubber: Fixed an issue where, after Lubber was refreshed into the Tavern, only Tavern Spells would appear in the shop.
- Timewarped Shivarra + Timewarped Devourer: Shivarra now copies the devoured minion’s full stats (including buffs), not just base stats.
- Whelp Watcher + Hand of Deios: Resolved a combat issue that could make Whelp Watcher un-interactive.
- Golden Timewarped Warghoul: Will no longer trigger the Deathrattle of another Golden Warghoul.
- Stone Age Slab: Effect now refreshes correctly each turn after use.
- Embalming Expert (Golden): Card text now updates correctly when tripled.
- Golden Timewarped Electron: Now Magnetizes 4/4 Satellites twice (as intended) and its text matches the effect.
- Timewarped Murky: Now improves from Battlecries that trigger from other sources (e.g., Brann Bronzebeard, Rylak Metalhead), not just when you play a Battlecry minion.
- Reclaimed Souls (Sylvanas): You can no longer use the Hero Power with a full hand (which previously burned the discovered minion and caused odd VFX). See Sylvanas Windrunner.
- Timewarped Hyena: Fixed cases where Hyena would miss buffs from Rabid Panther after stats were set by other effects.
- Greybough (Festergut interaction): Undead creations no longer carry buffs into your hand. (Related: Timewarped Festergut.)
- Timewarped Lasso: Can now be used even when the Tavern has no minions, as intended.
- Alternate Timeline (Murozond, Unbounded): From the opponent’s view, the remaining turns counter now updates correctly.

- Additionally, we’ve disabled the visual effect associated with buffs to right‑most minions in the Tavern such as from En‑Djinn Blazer. This is a visuals‑only change, and is intended to address difficulties making full use of some cards/strategies (e.g. Acid Rainfall).
