Blizzard just posted a teaser of the upcoming balance update!
This time it looks like the patch only contains Battlegrounds changes. Standard or Wild aren’t mentioned at all. Which is honestly in line with what Blizzard has been saying (no more balance changes for Standard this expansion, focus on the next set instead) but also something I really disagree with.
However, Battlegrounds players are still eating good. In that mode, we’re getting 7 minion nerfs, 4 buffs, and 4 pool changes. Additionally, the post mentions that Heroes and Buddies are also getting some changes (not shown on the teaser image).
Until the full patch notes are released, we only know what cards are affected and not how! The patch will drop tomorrow (October 9), most likely around 10 AM PT. Patch notes are usually released an hour before the update itself. It’s not the official timing, but that’s how it works for most of those balance updates.
