Game 1
Puffin – Midrange Druid vs. DuckWingFACE – Control Warrior
Puffin begins by Innervating out a Harvest Golem, and follows it up with a Wild Growth. DuckWing coins out a Chillwind Yeti and Puffin doesn’t have much of an answer. Puffin clears the Yeti and gets a Chillwind of his own. It eats an Acolyte of Pain into Execute and DuckWing puts out his second Yeti. The game of the Yeti continues, as Yeti trades for Yeti which buffs up DuckWing’s Frothing Berserker. Puffin is in a weak position, and is forced to Hero Power and pass the turn. Cairne Bloodhoof comes out for the Warrior, and the Frothing starts doing work for him. Puffin is forced to Force of Nature into Savage Roar to take out the Frothing and sends the rest to DuckWing’s face. Cairne is still on the table and it gets copied by DuckWing’s Faceless Manipulator. Baron Geddon comes out for DuckWing and he uses his Cairne duo and Baron’s AOE to clear Puffin’s board. Puffin is hanging in at 23 health, but the board and cards seem to be against him. Alexstrasza comes out for DuckWing and Puffin is quickly down to 11 health. Puffin runs out of answers and loses the first game.

Game 2
Puffin – Aggro Zoo vs. DuckWingFACE – Control Warrior
A Soulfire eats an Armorsmith early. Harvest Golem gets more value than usual from an Abusive Seargent and takes out a Frothing Berserker. The season of the Chillwind Yeti continues as it comes out for DuckWing. Another Abusive Seargent paired with the first Seargent comes out with a Mortal Coil to take out the Yeti. Zoo is in command of the board, but the Warrior is up to 35 health with a Shield Block. Puffin is effectively playing around Whirlwind, and an Execute from the Warrior takes out a buffed up Amani Berserker. DuckWing gets taken down to 3, but he Alexstrasza’s his way back to 15. Puffin has lethal though and the board takes down DuckWing’s Warrior.

Game 3
Puffin – Aggro Zoo vs. DuckWingFACE – Control Priest
Puffin decides not to take out an Ancient Watcher early, and it gets taunted immediately. Puffin loses a Doomguard to a Soulfire discard, which might hurt him in the late game. A very timely Auchenai Soulpriest for DuckWing which if he didn’t draw would have probably lost him the game. He gets a board clear, and stabilizes at 12 health. Puffin is trying to draw a win while Auchenai is preventing DuckWing from healing. DuckWing draws a Silence and uses it on his own Soulpriest to allow him to heal himself. DuckWing gets himself back up to 18 health which puts the game out of reach for Puffin. Holy Fire finishes off Puffin.

Game 4
Puffin – Midrange Shaman vs. DuckWingFACE – Control Priest
Argent Squire and Feral Spirit for Puffin which is answered by a Silenced Ancient Watcher for DuckWing. Rockbiter comes out on the second wolf that takes out the Watcher. DuckWing gets an Earth Shock and a Defender of Argus from Thoughtsteal and uses the Earth Shock on Argent Squire. Unbound Elemental comes out for Puffin, and another Thoughtsteal gets a Lightning Storm and an Unbound Elemental. Puffin wisely uses a Lightning Bolt to get his Unbound out of Cabal Shadow Priest range. Cabal comes out and steals a Bloodmage Thalnos that is hit with a Earth Shock by Puffin. DuckWing is able to clear the board with a Shadow Word: Death on a Fire Elemental and a Wild Pyromancer. Puffin gets a strong roll on a Lightning Storm that takes out two Northshire Cleric. DuckWing is far ahead in card advantage and sitting at 26 health. The game comes to a screeching halt while DuckWing picks Puffin apart slowly with a Twilight Drake and a couple of Sunfury Protector. Puffin finally plays his Al’Akir the Windlord and it immediately gets taken with Mind Control. Puffin finally succumbs to DuckWing’s stolen Al’Akir and a Twilight Drake.
