Time for Round 3 of ESGN’s Fight Night (Season 6). Darkwonyx of team Mana Grind squares off against Clarity Gaming’s ThatsAdmirable.

Game 1
ThatsAdmirable – Shaman King (Midrange Shaman) vs. Darkwonyx – Best Arthas (Control Shaman)
Some early totem play and a Lightning Bolt from Darkwonyx onto an Unbound Elemental puts him ahead on the board. ThatsAdmirable throws out Feral Spirit and is immediately responded to with a Feral Spirit by Darkwonyx. Flametongue Totem comes out between the wolves and cleans up Darkwonyx’s wolves. Some back and forth trades leaves ThatsAdmirable with a Mana Tide Totem and the everlasting Flametongue Totem. Doomhammer comes out for Darkwonyx which clears the Flametongue and a hit and an Earth Shock finishes off the Mana Tide. Doomhammer is efficiently clearing for Darkwonyx, and he ends up with a board of Carine Bloodhoof and Feral Wolves. ThatsAdmirable gets the clear with a Hex, Lightning Storm play. Turn 10 comes for Darkwonyx and the players are at 28 and 30. ThatsAdmirable gets a Fire Elemental on the board, but it’s immediately dispatched by Al’akir comboed with a Rockbiter Weapon. ThatsAdmirable clears Al’akir with his OWN Al’akir and a Lightning Bolt. Darkwonyx rolls a totem and gets what he need in a Wrath of Air Totem. He plays an Unbound Elemental and clears the board with Lightning Storm. Darkwonyx pulls a Harrison Jones from the deck and Doomhammer is sitting in ThatsAdmirable’s hand! Unfortunately for ThatsAdmirable he plays the Doomhammer. THAT BELONGS IN A MUSEUM! Darkwonyx fills his hand with the Harrison Jones onto the Doomhammer, but he’s not in the clear yet. ThatsAdmirable has a commanding board presence being led by a Fire Elemental, but the card advantage is strongly in Darkwonyx’s favor. Cairne Bloodhoof comes out for ThatsAdmirable, but that’s quickly Hex’d. The card advantage is too strong for Darkwonyx and ThatsAdmirable succumbs to a Fire Elemental and a Lightning Bolt.

Game 2
ThatsAdmirable – Admirable Druid (Ramp Druid) vs. Darkwonyx – Best Arthas (Control Shaman)
A lot of struggle for board control early. A timely Mana Tide Totem off the top for Darkwonyx gets silenced immediately. A Doomhammer for Darkwonyx gets him some early card and board advantage. Ancient of Lore comes out for ThatsAdmirable and gets him significantly ahead on cards, but Doomhammer and an Unbound Elemental finish it off. Darkwonyx is getting very low on health, but holds the board with Cairne Bloodhoof and a silenced Mana Tide Totem. Cairne gets silenced and ThatsAdmirable throws down a Chillwind Yeti and taunts up a Keeper of the Grove with Sunfury Protector. An Al’akir the Windlord comboed with Doomhammer gets Darkwonyx the board, but brings him even lower on health. ThatsAdmirable uses The Black Knight to dispatch Al’akir. A Swipe and a Druid of the Claw gets the board for ThatsAdmirable and Darkwonyx is at 7 health. Another Ancient of Lore comes out and nets ThatsAdmirable even more cards. Darkwonyx needs a taunt to survive the next turn, but does not find one. ThatsAdmirable finishes Darkwonyx off with a Druid of the Claw into Savage Roar combo!

Game 3
ThatsAdmirable – Admirable Druid (Ramp Druid) vs. Darkwonyx – El Diablo (Divine Paladin)
Darkwonyx gets an early 6/6 Blood Knight by consuming a Scarlet Crusader’s shield. The Paladin deck seems to completely befuddle ThatsAdmirable as he looks perplexed by the play. ThatsAdmirable responds with an Ancient Watcher into Sunfury Protector play. Ancient Watcher gets Aldor Peacekeeper-ed and cleared with Blood Knight. Cairne comes out for for ThatsAdmirable. Darkwonyx Youthful Brewmasters his Aldor Peacekeeper and uses it on Cairne which gains him another look of perplexity from ThatsAdmirable. He can’t seem to get rid of Darkwonyx’s Blood Knight, but he is able to Chillwind Yeti and Innervate into a second Chillwind. An Equality gets Darkwonyx back board control, but he finally loses his Blood Knight. Argent Commander for Darkwonyx and he puts heavy pressure on ThatsAdmirable. ThatsAdmirable tries to set up for lethal, but his board is instantly cleared and the board control stays on Darkwonyx’s side. ThatsAdmirable can’t come up with an answer and concedes!

Game 4
ThatsAdmirable – KitKatzsReynadsAggroCtrl (Control Warrior) vs. Darkwonyx – El Diablo (Divine Paladin)
Darkwonyx gets his friend Harrison Jones on his first draw. Frothing Berserker comes out for ThatsAdmirable against two Silver Hand Recruits on the Paladin’s side. ThatsAdmirable gets a great Frothing, Armorsmith, into Whirlwind play, but the Frothing is dispatched by Hammer of Wrath. Armorsmith is finished off with a Truesilver Champion. The Warrior drops a Sen’jin Shieldmasta on an empty board. The five health stymies Darkwonyx’s Truesilver. A Sunwalker out for Darkwonyx. The Warrior throws out a Cairne and passes. The Aldor Peacekeeper comes out on Cairne and is buffed along with the Sunwalker by Defender of Argus. Execute gets Sunwalker and out comes a Sylvannas Windrunner for the Warrior. Darkwonyx throws his board into Sylvannas, and clears the Baine Bloodhoof with Truesilver into Avenging Wrath. Darkwonyx puts down Ragnaros the Firelord and it takes out an Armorsmith. Ragnaros gets Faceless Manipulator-ed and he passes the turn! Ragnaros misses the opponents Rag and hits Darkwonyx in the face! Equality into Consecrate comes out for the Paladin and clears the board, but unfortunately for Darkwonyx, Grommash Hellscream and Slam are in the hand of the Warrior and that finishes him off.

Game 5
ThatsAdmirable – KitKatzsReynadsAggroCtrl (Control Warrior) vs. Darkwonyx – This Beard. Such Shave (Control Druid)
Armorsmith leads us off for the Warrior. Darkwonyx decides to not Innervate out a Chillwind Yeti in favor of waiting for a Cairne Bloodhoof. Cairne comes out and ThatsAdmirable uses Slam into a Cruel Taskmastered Armorsmith that takes out Cairne, but leaves Baine. Chillwind Yeti comes out for the Druid and he goes to the face with Baine. A Cruel Taskmaster into Fiery War Axe takes out Baine. A charged Druid of the Claw comes out and puts the pressure on ThatsAdmirable. The Warrior is forced to Brawl the two minion board, and finishes off Druid of the Claw with Fiery War Axe into Whirlwind. The troubles continue for ThatsAdmirable as an Innervated Cenarius comes out. Baron Geddon takes out the 2/2 Taunted Treants, and Darkwonyx draws a Savage Roar that will most likely seal the Warrior’s fate. Wrath and Swipe take out Geddon and the Druid continues the pressure by sending Cenarius at the Warrior’s face. ThatsAdmirable is in a hopeless position and draws a way too late Gorehowl. The Gorehowl takes out Cenarius, but that will end it as Force of Nature finishes him off!
