Mulligans

General Mulligans

You should mulligan for Doomsayer in most matchups. Equality is also a key card in this deck, so keep it in your opening hand in most matchups. Truesilver Champion with The Coin tends to be good to keep aswell. Last but not least, your murlocs Bluegill Warrior and Murloc Warleader can help a lot to keep early game under control.

Overview

This is more of a control/combo deck type with the selection of specific Murlocs to make the Anyfin Can paladin spell a game finisher.

This deck lacks early-game strength and it’s important to keep in mind that its goal is to stall the game for as long as possible until you can use your devastating Murloc spells. You’ll be using your hero power quite often in the initial turns, but some cards are key to have in hand to delay the game and keep the board under control as much as possible, such as Doomsayer and the precious Truesilver Champion.

If you’re struggling with card draw, maybe it would be a good option to swap things like:

.

Aside from the card draw cards, the deck also has lots of healing and survival cards like
Ivory Knight and Ragnaros, Lightlord. All these cards help you to extend the game for as long as possible so you have the necessary time to draw your combo pieces.

And of course a deck like this will have the devastating board clear combo Wild Pyromancer and Equality. Or either of the early cards combined with Consecration. The Pyromancer also helps you to increase the value of your Acolyte of Pain. Remember, the faster you draw, the faster you have your hands on all the key cards for your finisher spell, which is Anyfin Can Happen.

Matchups

Against aggressive decks such as the famous and sticky Shamans and Hunters, up to the Midrange setups, your goal is always to survive the early pressure with all your healing and removal. Eventually they will run out of options.

Against control decks, it will be, as usual, a long fight. Be careful of priest’s using Entomb on your key murloc cards and against warriors, try to eventually force them to use at least one Brawl before you cast your killer spells. Also take care about fatigue, I can’t count how many times I won against control warriors by strategically making them draw more cards then me.
