Mulligans

You have a lot of murlocs to play around with for your first 3-4 turns or so, and you do have some reloading here and there with Mana Tide Totem and the newest murloc in the group, but just didn’t see any play: Murloc Tastyfin.  It’s a worse Eleven Minstrel, but it makes up for it because of the murlocs you specifically want to draw out first before going for your emergency cards, like Fire Elemental and Walking Fountain for example.

I decided to use Archivist Elysiana  because I didn’t like the Idea of dealing 3 Damage to my Murlocs, so I just wanted it to play it safe, but more importantly I also wanted a body along with reloading my hand completely. So Elysiana became the most useful for a deck like this.

I also had some interest with Muckmorpher, because there actually is some potential to were he could come in useful in the right hands. For this deck specifically, you have a 43.333% chance that you can get some use of it, 53.334% Chance were it’s just a 4/4 Body, and a 3.333% chance were he’s going to turn into Elysiana, and could spoil your future turns. Although it’s 43-57, the other 57 bit isn’t the worst thing in the world, since most your cards are still Murlocs. So you could still try and work around your 4/4 murloc with other murlocs that you have.

And the only reason why I have 2 Bloodlust and not 1, is just more of a secure thing that I have but otherwise you can trim out 1 of the Bloodlust for another Fire Elemental or even another Muckmorpher. It’s starting to click with me and what uses it can have, especially if it has Rush and Lifesteal for example. So I be sure that I’ll make a Muckmorpher Shaman Deck in the future.
