Shifting Scroll seems like a keeper, but I have found that if you start with this in your hand, the quest never detects that it changes to a spell that you didn't start with in your deck.
This was an attempt to create a tempo deck that can handle situations when the “tempo” portion runs out of steam. The “quest” acts as a safety net for matches that end up going longer than a usual tempo deck can handle. The random nature of Primordial Glyphs, Cabalist’s Tome and Babbling Book make it unpredictable, which often throws the opponent off balance. I’ve pulled a Pyroblast from the Glyph and been able to use it on turn 8 to finish off more than a few matches.
I love this deck! Started using it at rank 10 and am currently on 8 without loss so far 😀
Shifting Scrolls are a lot more handy than I expected, but I dropped the lesser rubies for Aluneth + arcane intellect. Games have been fairly crazy so far and I definitely think this deck isn’t for everyone but I’m having a blast so yay!
