I’m running a slightly different deck:

    -1 argent squire
    -1 shadowstep
    +1 shaku
    +1 beneath the grounds

70% winrate got to legend in no time. Hardest matchups are reno decks and the beneath the grounds helps by a whole lot ! Super fun deck 🙂

I would probably just run a second Argent Horserider.

Very entertaining deck. Capable of some strong, sudden burst damage and/or board presence. The combination of the “Pirate Package” and the “Murloc Package” provides excellent early- and mid-game tempo, and ample removal options keep most threats in check. Having lots of fun with this deck.

A few notes on its vulnerabilities, though:

    – Finja is often a vital element for winning. I’ve noticed that in almost every game I’ve lost, I never drew Finja. It’s not impossible to win without him, but it certainly makes your job harder if don’t draw him before your other Murlocs show up.

    – I’ve struggled against Reno decks and decks like Dragon Priest that are Taunt-heavy. It’s still possible to burst them to death early on with some luck, but usually it just takes too many cards to deal with their board and I end up topdecking against a hand full of late-game threats.

    – While it’s sometimes the correct play to push for very early face damage with Cold Blood and the like, more often than not it’s best to keep your opponent’s minions off the board. This is true for your Dagger as well, as being able to activate your Pirates is usually much more valuable than a point of damage to your opponent’s face.

You want Small-Time Buccaneer and Backstab against most matchups, and SI7 Agent and Edwin are usually safe keeps with The Coin. Against aggro you want to pull Patches quickly, so the other Pirates are reasonable to keep, and against slower decks you can usually keep Tomb Pillager and Eviscerate. Finja is an automatic keep against everything if you’re lucky enough to get it.

I must be having bad matchups. This deck just crumples to shamans that have multiple taunts.

shaman is a tough matchup. The deck seems to be favored against pirate warrior though. went from rank 11-5 in a day

Sylvanas will go to Wild once the Standard rotation happens, we don’t know for sure when this will be but it’s likely around late March – April. I would guess some time in April because we haven’t even had the expansion announced yet, and there’s usually a month gap after the announcement before the release.

As is disentchanted my golden patches because i hate those pirate decks, this deck seems very interesting.
Can you suggest any replacement for Patches or do you think without patches this Deck is too weak?
I thougt about adding one deadly poison instead…

I wouldn’t want to play it without Patches, but you could probably run a second Argent Horserider.

I had this same idea watching Muzzy play his aggro rogue list. I almost came up with this identical list. I had a miracle Murloc deck I was running with decent success last season, but the Muzzy list was a better fit for Murlocs. So I’ve been running this for the last two weeks. I’m gonna try the 1 squire 1 horserider here. I’ve had two horseriders instead.

I really think finja has been overlooked until recently. Everyone just assumed it only had a home in Murloc paladin, and moved on. If you have finja on turn 5 with this deck it’s usually an instant win. With the right draw I’ve been able to burst for 30+ on turn 6.

I’ve had hands where finja pulls both warleaders while holding both bluegills, both shadow steps, and a combo of cold bloods or eviscerate.
