Deck Description
Rase was kind enough to send us hisrank 1 legendary Ramp Druid deck list! It's a bit unusual in the fact that it doesn't run any combo pieces, and includes a rarely seen card in The Black Knight. Our good friend Kel'Thuzad also makes an appearance.

Well first off how do you not have KT. Secondly one of the nice things about this deck is that it doesn't have any BGH targets. Half the decks run a copy of BGH, Now you punish them for having it as they try to save it for a target that doesn't exist, they won't even play it for tempo except in extreme situations.
Better off with Shade or 2nd raven idol or something more in that grain.

Pretty good deck, 7-0 actually from rank 11 to almost 9 I was stuck there too many aggros lol and the ppl just think im aggro shaman when u put the minions from the aggro deck its funny tho lols!

The issue with Dr. Boom and Ironbark is that it gives the deck a BGH target where as it stands now it has none

Exactly what happened to me in a tournament. A top 100 leg got 3-0'ed by me partly was because he lost to my druid with his zoo. The standard druid list just plain sucks vs zoo but mc tech is awesome vs zoo. Also he was at 16 hp and ran his sea giant into my keeper to avoid combo. Not sure it would've made a difference but that bad trade certainly didn't hurt.

This deck is honestly garbage, extremely starting hand dependent and a really bad curve. Made me go down 2 ranks lmao

Maybe for the Mind Control Tech, but I would keep it as is.

Raptor's good in arena but in constructed it's nothing special, certainly not special enough to make top 30 i think. MC tech is very strong vs zoo and all kind of agro, it's also good vs patron warrior. Vs control shade is a better bet. Shade is kinda your default 3 drop.
Also 3 drops in general don't fit well with druids game plan, because with wild growth you 3 mana and go strait to 4. Usually 3 drops like shade get enervated out on turn 1 which is very strong (assuming you have a follow up line of play that doesn't require enervate). Or when you don't get ramp card, which happens about half the time. Those games are always rough. Druid does have a problem with falling flat with sub par class minions and lack of good hard removal. It's strength is in it's ability to cheat the mana curve. If you get 5+ minions and no enervate wild growth it is pretty ugly.

At first i wasn't sure if this deck was good. No combo seemed wierd. But i tried it (with a few modifications) and honestly i like it better than the standard combo druid.
Gutzy deck, but it pays off.

Now that the new extension is available and with the nerf of The Ancient of Lore and Keeper of the Grove, is it possible to have an updated version of this deck for season 26 ? (Still for Wild Mode).
