Why is this deck good again?
This deck is super weak against other aggro decks…which kind of misses the purpose of it being aggro.
What should I use instead of mad scientist
Nothing
this is a great deck, after much practice ive made just a few minor changes, the loot horders for knife jugglers and the mad bombers for mirror images(slightly weaker but more reliable) ive also swapped out one ice block for a duplicate, to help beef the minions 🙂 its a great mash up between the freeze mage and the aggro mage thats both quick and stall worthy, often allowing multiple attacks while forcing your opponent to use up his answers there are a few legendaries that work well in place of the second ice block, and your often just stalling for an extra turn before you die with it anyway :p
Can this deck be played without the bloodmages? Any subs?
Kobold Geomancer for the Spell Power.
TBH I know Thalnos is cheap, but I’d go Azure Drake for the spell power + card draw.
I’ll try both today actually. I like the look of this deck.
Double Mad Bomber? It seens a bit weird with so many Grim Patrons out there. Thinking on the Aggro style, won’t Pyroblast sit on your hand for a lot of time?

PS : I think can add two or three secret with illuminator its an good combo in aggro mage 😉 or maybe doomsayer clean all and win the game !
wtf in 3 hours 23-19 that will climb with basic cards in 30 minutes foreal…
Fascinating list! Love the ice blocks & frost nova – gives a few turns to draw into burn!
and no flamewaker! having a lot of success with this today ranks 13-11. you can spend early game hitting face, and then utilize ice blocks and hero power to get a turn 8-10 KO. 😀
