If you want to get in on some Dragon’s before Standard is released then you might want to give Fibonacci’s Dragon Warrior a shot. It’s fairly similar to Control Warrior, but instead uses the power of Dragons to overwhelm the opponent! This is one of the decks Fibonacci used to reach legend this month.

BGH is getting nerfed to a 5-cost minion in the next patch.

So weird. The last game I played against was exactly this deck. I was using a reno control warrior and the match lasted way into the late game. It was pretty fun, because we just bounced removals off each other. In the end, he had to forfeit, because he couldn’t remove my ysera, and I had a golden monkey coming up.

thoughts on varian in this deck
If vaible who could he replace?

Maybe Drakonid Crusher, but I wouldn’t add Varian. He’s slow and doesn’t allow you to play anything but him on a turn. You also lose out on the Battlecry effects.

Wouldn’t chromaggus be perfect instead of Nefarian? I like the 8 mana instead of 9.

Chromaggus is hard to get value from (it usually dies before you get to draw), and you always at least get something from Nefarian.

Can anyone explain me why is crusher better than chillmaw?

Despite the deck being described as playing like Control Warrior, it’s game-plan is more on the slower end of the mid-range spectrum. The sort of Dragon Warrior that would run a Chillmaw would play it for the same reason that you usually play brawl: the game-plan of that sort of deck assumes being behind on board by the early phase of the mid game. The sort of Dragon Warrior that doesn’t want Chillmaw assumes that it’ll be establishing it’s own board of high quality minions that it doesn’t want to damage or destroy. This is the sort of Dragon Warrior deck that sometimes puts weapon swings to the enemies face because it has a good chance of winning within the first ten turns.

What do you think about brann? It seems a great addition. Removing Nefarian?

I wouldn’t remove a Dragon card for it, you could maybe take out a Bash.

No, that’s not the same type of card: Bash is a early game card and you want play Brann as a very late card with shieldmaiden or corruptor. I removed BGH, useful but too situationnal.

Have you EVER played a Warrior deck before? Mulligan for weapons, don’t be hasty to kill their board with your face. Alex’s Champion trades very well early game, you have Bash, Slam, four weapons and two executes.

This deck might loose but it’s not against “aggro”.

What do you think about Alex over Nefarian?

      I could see that working!

I think any big dragon might be able to fill the role, but I suspect that with this sort of late/midrange style of warrior you’ll find that your opponent is often already near or below 15 health by the time you get to play Alex. You might even want to consider Onyxia as a replacement for Nefarian.

Any replace for Justicar, or should I just buck up and craft her?

There’s no real replacement, but I would wait to craft her (see how the meta plays out). I’d try Sylvanas in that spot if you have her. A cheaper option would be a second Shieldmaiden.
