Deck Import

Cross has made some pretty awesome Tempo Mage deck lists in the past, but this one is pretty unique. When you start building a Reno Jackson deck, you inevitably start adding a few cards that aren’t seen in the meta. In this deck, you’ll find cards like Effigy, Sen'jin Shieldmasta, Sunwalker, and Grand Crusader. The deck finds a good balance between spell and minion, while still managing to keep the heart of Tempo Mage.

I’m missing Crusader and Sylvanas. I can replace Crusader with Antonidas as someone else mentioned. Would Loatheb be an okay replacement for Sylvanas? I’d craft her if it weren’t for the upcoming changes in the Spring.

Played a 100 of games with it at the moment.
-1 Shade of Naxxramas + 1 Mind Control Tech
Shade brings noting to the deck while MCT win game alone sometimes. Flamewaker and Apprentice does not really shine, testing Brann Bronzebeard and Acidic Swamp Ooze to see if those too have a good impact.

Deck is really fun and work pretty well tho !

I’ve been playing a deck similar to this using echo and duplicate to get multiple uses out of reno. It seems to be working very well so far

I hate the two Mad Scientists. So often i would have had to play Reno but couldn’t cause i still hadn’t drawn one of them.

I say replace one MS for echo of medivh and the Sen’Jin for a Kezan Mystic in this meta

I dont see the full point of Shade, would Mind control Tech be a better 3-drop ??

very good deck , I added Antonidas and Rhonin instead of ironbreak owl and grand crusader

    I went from rank 10-5 , with 11 win 2 defeat

In my humble opinion, if you’re going to make a Highlander Mage deck, you gotta have Echo of Medivh.

Looks interesting but this isn’t a Tempo Mage deck at all. You can’t call a deck with Reno, Ice Block and a bunch of defensive taunts a Tempo Mage deck. This is just Reno Mage–if anything it’s Reno Control Mage.

    Pretty good deck.

    -1 Shade of Naxx
    +1 Archmage Antonidas

This helped climb the ladder way more.

    Pretty cool Deck!
I think Bloodmage Thalanos is an option for SorcererĀ“s Apprentice perhaps ?

i think you need Sorcerer’s Apprentice for tempo since your spells cost 1 mana less. its too unique.
but i guess you can cut one mad scientist & add bloodmage..

Why not replace Loot Hoarder for Bloodmage?

You only have three cards in the deck that deal damage. The Loothoarder can trade up into 3/2 minions.
