Token Druid is one of the oldest archetypes in Hearthstone. It was always kind of a mid to low tier deck type, and largely took a backseat to Midrange Druid. However, when cards like Innervate, Savage Roar, and Force of Nature received nerfs, Token Druid was able to thrive more in the recent metas.
The Boomsday Project didn’t add a whole lot for the deck, but it did give it a couple of new pieces that work well with it. Floop’s Glorious Gloop gives it the ability to refill a board if you are forced to trade in a bunch of your tokens. While Giggling Inventor allows for a quick and hard to remove board fill that protects some of your weaker and important minions.
