It’s been fun to see people experimenting with the newly revealed Whispers of the Old Gods cards! We’re inching closer to the release date that has been rumored/leaked to be for April 26th, 2016. Until then we’ll just have to be satisfied with the reveals and theorycraft!
If you haven’t already you can Register and create new decks with our Hearthstone Deck Builder.
These decks are chosen based on originality, popularity, and guide construction. Utilization of all aspects of the deck builder, e.g., Featured Image, Deck Description, and Mulligans makes you far more likely to be chosen.

This is a very interesting deck, it takes the Control Warrior style of taking the game long and potentially in fatigue, but does it with Paladin. I also love how nicely the guide that follows the deck is formatted and put together. Great job, Sine!
Thanks to Sine for the submission!
Druid got a couple of pretty strong cards revealed in Klaxxi Amber-Weaver and Mire Keeper. C'Thun could become one of the main-stays of Druid in the future if they see some of their cards nerfed. It should be interesting to see what the rest of the cultists look like.

Totem Shaman really got a potential boost with Thing from Below being announced. The other card that will likely be a staple of Shaman in the future is Master of Evolution (especially with Piloted Shredder on the way out). It remains to be seen which direction Shaman will ultimately take, but if it gets slower than I would even expect to see Hammer of Twilight make an appearance.

Lifecoach called Blood Warriors unplayable, but if you take Echo of Medivh into consideration, the card might see a bit of fringe play. This deck seeks to capitalize on the card with Molten Giant and cards that damage minions. It would ultimately play similar to Echo Mage where you bide your time, get Moltens on the board and duplicate them to fill the board. You can then potentially get yourself out of lethal range with Cult Apothecary or Shield Block.
Honorable Mention
I had to mention this deck because it cracked me up. The idea behind this deck is that it’s the worst deck in Standard. Phephemigi even goads you into trying it: “I Dare you to win games with this.” I also love that Phep mentions that the plan is not to die before you play C'Thun. Well, that’s going to be tough because C’Thun isn’t in the deck!
Thanks to Phephemigi for the submission!
