I think its an amazing card. Yes its slow, but remember its priest, so the player will have tools and other removals to work his way trough earlier turns… And you cand work your way to set up this card, leaving the minions you want to erase completely on T9. This could be a whinning condition on its own on several situations, like the nail on the coffin

So heres my take- this will be annoying because we know that blizzard wants to make the game more control based. This also kills off any copies of the cards, so like if you had some in hand or deck they are just gone. Its also noteable that priest is losing Soul Mirror, this will take that cards spot probably.

    Hello new plague of death.

Does it destroy all minions in decks or just all copies of minions on the board?

It would be all minions on board and all copies of them in hand/deck. It is an AoE Flik Skyshiv so if you hit, idk, your own Kazakusan you played last turn you’d destroy the one in your opponent’s deck.

This card is horrendously bad though at 9 mana since it is 1 more mana for a twisting nether which is already typically too slow. By turn 9 chances are your opponent is AT LEAST halfway through their deck so the dupes are low and even then problem cards are usually legendaries or spells.

How is this rated so highly? It’s so much worse than plague of death. And plague existed in a meta that was much more friendly towards a 9 Mana board clear.

I mean it costs 9 mana for a potentially better twisting nether in a world where twisting nether is a questionable card to play. This should’ve at least poofed minions to avoid deathrattles if it is going to cost this much.

We saw before with Flik that the “all copies” clause is so incredibly niche it really doesn’t matter that much and Flik was way more flexible and provided tempo as he only cost 6.

People will hate Priest because of this card, and Priest mains will LOVE to play it and LoL while your opponent cries… 9 mana is expensive and Aggro have a chance before to win, Value decks could also get the Kazakusan’s Treasures before losing their minions, but in the Control vs Control I’m not sure if Priest can generate enough value with post-rotation cards. I’d only run 1 copy of this card as an Emergency button in a spell heavy control deck (maybe questline with a guaranteed win condition…)
